Going PlacesThe seventh batch of students graduated from the ISB this April. The best of companies - domestic and international - welcomed the graduating students with exciting opportunities, spread across 23 countries around the globe. Senior positions were offered to students, acknowledging their premier education and prior experience.

Domestic recruitment saw a large increase in offers from consulting companies. Inspite of markets slowing down due to the sub-prime crisis, recruitment from the financial sector remained unaffected. While Consulting, Finance, Technology and Marketing companies were dominant, Real Estate, Media, Hospitality and Healthcare recruiters also made their presence felt this year.

The number of international companies visiting the ISB doubled, reinforcing the status of the ISB as a talent pool for the world. 41 new international companies visited the ISB campus for the first time and 111 international offers were made across the USA, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific.

The Indian School of Business is an internationally top-ranked*, research driven, independent management institution that grooms future leaders for India and the world. In a short span of seven years, the ISB has successfully pioneered several new trends within management education in India and has established itself as a leading B-School in the world. The ISB offers a world-class curriculum in association with the Wharton School, the Kellogg School of Management and the London Business School. Faculty at the ISB comes from the world’s best B-Schools, reflecting the truly international nature of education offered on campus.

*Financial Times, London, Annual MBA Ranking 2008 ranked ISB 20th amongst the top B-Schools in the world
