Standing out in a radically changing world

Looking back at what´s been going on all over the world in recent months can give you a distinctly un-easy feeling. The number of con-flicts around the

globe continues to grow. Civil-war con-ditions in the Ukraine and unending bat-tles in Syria. The violence linked to the spread of the „Islamic State“ in the Arab world or the terror threat in Europe. In addition, decades-long conflicts in the Near East or Central Africa. The sheer number of political and religious trouble spots is alarming.

All of these disputes point to a world in upheaval, and no one can predict how far the changes will go. One must ob-serve the developments and orient one-self accordingly. Because it goes without saying that changes in the various cor-ners of the globe also have an effect on the economic situation. The concept of a „Global Village“ has left its mark on our age: what happens thousands of kilo-metres away also has an impact on our own actions.

Many sales markets have been strug-gling with major problems due to all this turmoil: that’s simply a reality that one cannot ignore, and we’re keep-ing a watchful eye on developments. Meanwhile, our intention is to cau-tiously proceed along the path we have chosen. It was possible to implement the investments in the production sites of Goleniow (Poland) and Lentzweiler (Luxembourg) as planned. At the IAA we were proud to receive the „Trailer Innovation Award 2015“ in the „concept“ category for our CombiMAX. We see this as a very positive signal and a strong indication for the future.

Through the quality of our products and the technical know-how in design and processing we wish to stand out, even in a radically changing world. We have confidence in our own strengths and will always keep a sharp eye on what’s hap-pening around us. Together with you, our esteemed customers, we wish to take up and successfully deal with the coming challenges.

The feedback on this innovative principle can be described as outstanding, because the reactions were unambiguous: „revolutionary“, „phenomenal“, „trailblazing“ – to cite just a few comments. At the IAA international motor show, moreover, the CombiMAX won the coveted „Trailer Innovation Award 2015“ in the „Concept“ category. The vote of the eleven-member jury, composed of representatives of international trade magazines, to award this renowned dis-tinction to the CombiMAX wasn´t even close . . . This positive assessment from independent spe-cialists also closely reflects what customers are telling us. „The conversations we’ve been hold-

ing indicate that we really captured the Zeitgeist on this. With the CombiMAX we’ve found the right direction, and this was clearly demonstrat-ed in our exchanges with the transport compa-nies“, says Faymonville General Manager Alain Faymonville, looking back on a highly eventful period for this brand-new product line.

Modularity and flexibility in perfection

Several deals could already be concluded within the framework of the IAA, and quite a few po-tential projects relating to the CombiMAX were

PRODUCT TO THE MAX

CombiMAX rocks the transport world Winning the „Trailer Innovation Award 2015“: another sign of being on the right track

discussed. „Many visitors came to see us at the stand expressly for the CombiMAX“, notes Faymonville about the discussions held with customers from all corners of the world. „As a result we received plenty of input directly from the users. They provide us with extremely valu-able tips for further developing the CombiMAX, which of course represents a large vehicle fam-ily“. There has also been informative feedback from the various test vehicles that are being used at selected reference customers. All of this information suggests that the CombiMAX is an ideal concept, and one that has been warmly embraced by the sector. Based on the „configure to order“ principle, the virtually unlimited possibilities for combining standard-ised components are a milestone. Modularity and flexibility in perfection. The individually us-able building blocks make customised trans-port solutions a reality. „Define your transport

job - configure your vehicle solution!“, is the way Alain Faymonville summarises the under-lying idea. The decision-making freedom offered by the ex-tensive selection, the efficient user-friendliness and the technical advantages have immediate-ly made the CombiMAX the sector’s „shooting star“. A single gooseneck for all possible steer-ing systems (One-Neck-Technology) and the unique telescoping add-on beam ensure flex-ibility. Bogie and lowbed can be connected or detached immediately by means of the fast-cou-pling hook system. And a simple increase or de-crease in the number of axle lines via bolt-lash coupling makes efficient working possible. Faymonville is opening up new directions in product development, and the excellent CombiMAX is reinforcing its strong market posi-tion. Innovation on the highest level, which also enjoys commercial protection straight from the Patent Office. Faymonville is setting new stand-ards with the CombiMAX, and the enthusiastic response from customers is seen as an encour-agement to keep doing pioneering work in the ar-eas of heavy and special transports in the future as well.

The last few months have been especially exciting for Faymonville and its new low loader concept CombiMAX. In April, this impressive new product was unveiled to the general public and its customers. Then, in late September at the IAA in Hannover, it enjoyed a motor show première that garnered massive amounts of attention.

The CombiMAX received an impressive welcome from the transport sector, and the first vehicle combinations were

delivered by the end of the year.

Lightweight construction and maximum payload

The new-generation PrefaMAX concrete inloader

„It was principally the chassis structure and the axle suspension that were reworked“, says Product Manager Albert Balke about this rejuvenation. „So one can say without exag-geration that a whole new generation is now rolling off the production line“. And this new inloader for precast concrete elements fulfils one very important criteria: it´s the lightest in its class! Built on three axles, the standard metallised PrefaMAX semi-trailer impresses all those in the sector with an even lower tare weight than its predecessor. The continuous side beams with optimised stress repartition, the stable axle suspension and the sturdy, welded bear-ing housings attest to the top-quality produc-tion processes. Exclusively European quality components are used in their manufacture. This also rests on the fact that the production and development of the PrefaMAX takes place 100% in-house at Faymonville. „As a result, it´s possible to subject all of the components

and processes to the strictest quality tests“. For Albert Balke, the motto “no risk!” applies every bit as much for the new PrefaMAX gen-eration as well.

TÜV certification guarantees operational reliability

Moreover, the vehicle wins over potential purchasers with its many standard extras (including 9 + 3 pairs of lashing rings) and additional useful options. Well-conceived and user-oriented functionality is one of the central ideas, so that the driver - whether on

a construction site or on the company’s own grounds - can quickly and easily execute every aspect of his work process. Fast loading and offloading of the elements even in confined spaces is made possible thanks to an optionally foldable rear door. The generally easy handling underlines how closely its design has been oriented on prac-tical considerations. The same applies for the built-in RSS (roll stability support), which as-sures driving stability even under otherwise tricky conditions. In any event, the PrefaMAX concrete inloader guarantees an extraordinarily high operation-

al reliability, as illustrated by the fact that we were the first from amongst our competitors to receive official certification (under the VDI Guideline 2700) from the TÜV Rheinland for the full 30 tonnes of load capacity. According-ly, each of the three load security elements can be deployed per 10 tonnes of load without any need for additional security systems (ten-sion belts or chains). „No one else can equal that performance“, Product Manager Balke notes, with palpable pride. The PrefaMAX family is henceforth subdivided into several categories which are specifical-ly focused on different needs. Along with the standard version there are the „Light“, „Light 10300“ with longer casing length or different national variants with special wheel-centre distances (for Sweden and Norway, notably). New in the programme is a very short „City version“ as well as the telescoping PrefaMAX, something that many customers had already been eagerly waiting for.

With the PrefaMAX, Faymonville sets resolute standards in the precast concrete elements segment. Lighter, stronger, more compact, with increased payload – and this always in accordance with the motto: “no risk!”

Faymonville has long been apprecia-ted as a full-spectrum supplier and system provider for the precast con-crete sector. Recently, the entire pro-duct family of PrefaMAX semi-trailers was given a general overhaul, so that they’ve now been optimised down to the finest details.

Standardisation makes automation possible

Swing axle bogies round the clockWithin the framework of consistently implementing the „configure to order“ principle, Faymonville is reinforcing for certain new product concepts the development of “building blocks” with modular platform structure and combinable, standardised components.

„A prerequisite for an efficient automation of the manufacturing process is the modular-isation of subassemblies with standardised interfaces and a maximum use of identical parts”: that’s how Guy Fickers, Technical

Director at Faymonville, explains the funda-mental idea behind the latest developments. This philosophy has now been implemented in exemplary fashion for the production of swing axle bogies. To start with, the design of

these bogies was analysed using the „Finite Element Method“ (FEM) and optimised from the perspectives of both production and tech-nical maintenance. The result of this pro-duction optimisation is a so-called „factory in the factory“, where the swing axle bogies are welded, mechanically processed, lac-quered and finally assembled on a virtually non-stop basis. The individual manufacturing steps are opti-mally coordinated with one another. This rang-es from the automatic welding by means of 7 or 9-axis articulated robots, over the milling in the most modern processing centres, to the final assembly on a semi-automatic assembly carrousel specially built for this purpose.

High quality and uninterrupted traceability „For the customers, the advantages of a largely automated manufacturing process are self-evident“, notes Guy Fickers. For example, the high repetition accuracy of the „in house“ production and the use of the most modern focused-arc welding techniques guarantee a very high and constant component quali-ty. Moreover, the automatic recording of the welding parameters permits an uninterrupt-ed traceability of all quality-relevant factors

in the production. Meanwhile, the clocked manufacturing process makes it possible, with reduced processing times, to achieve short delivery periods for the standard mod-els. Finally, using identical parts accelerates the spare part logistics and also optimises the maintenance and repair processes in custom-er service. The „factory in the factory“ for the standard-ised bogies is currently being progressive-ly ramped up. The swing axles for the new CombiMAX low-bed trailer concept are already manufactured in this way. The production is currently being continuously expanded for all involved semi-trailer types from the MegaMAX through the modules through to the VarioMAX. In the final assembly, this manufacturing step is designed for a produc-tion capacity of around 1000 axle lines per year (which corresponds to 2,000 swing axles annually).

Interplay of man and machine: after preparation, the articulated robot welds the components with the utmost precision

The processing centres meet the highest standards and the absolute precision of the works performed there is highly impressive

The CoC certificate enables immediate registration

A European passport for FaymonvilleWhether for a three-axle MultiMAX or a module with 15 axle lines: it is obligatory for every vehicle to be registered with the national registration office before making its first transport. Faymonville has done what is necessary to facilitate this adminis-trative procedure for transport companies.

In this respect, the CoC certificate (Certificate of Conformity) is an extremely practical and universal instrument! It makes pan-European registration easier. Prior to this administra-tive possibility, every EU country had its very own requirements for vehicle registration. The processes differed significantly from

country to country, and were in some cases quite arduous and time-consuming. More-over, when a vehicle had to be re-registered after resale in a different country, the whole process would begin all over again. Thanks to Framework Directive 2007/46/EC, Faymonville can now issue a Certificate of

Conformity (CoC) for its own semi-trailers and low-bed trailers. This document makes registration possible in every EU country. For Faymonville, the challenge was to bring its special vehicles into harmony with the safety requirements of the various EU regula-tions, so as to be able to issue this CoC certifi-cation. In close collaboration with the various authorities and European agencies, one like-wise obtained the authorisation to issue the CoC certificate for the new CombiMAX as well.

Time savings

This CoC document is a true „passport“ for low-bed trailers and semi-trailers, one which is recognised everywhere. The trans-porter loses no time registering his vehicle, but simply attaches the CoC certification to his documents, meaning he’s back on the road again immediately! As a result, the user saves time, energy and … money. Another advantage: crossing from one country to another. International transports are no longer a problem, since there exists a precisely defined legal framework (authori-sations for special transports continue to be required). This certificate is obligatory for every country of the European Union. Often it is even accept-

ed by the authorities in Russia and Israel as well. By contrast, some countries are not yet very familiar with this new official document. In this case, Faymonville advises its custom-ers on what they have to do to satisfy the international regulations.Currently, only Faymonville is able to issue a CoC certification for all of its products, which proves to be a real advantage in the day-to-day work of every transporter. Coun-tries such as Great Britain, for example, are tightening up their conditions for vehicles that don´t have a CoC document, and that often extends the registration periods considera-bly. But for Faymonville vehicles, this problem doesn´t exist...Faymonville´s products are now a step ahead with respect to administrative and regulatory law as well. The company is a pioneer in this area and offers its customers an effective way to facilitate their administrative dealings.

The CoC certification simplifies registration in every EU country, thus saving customers time and money.

Faymonville’s SPMC now used by Sarens throughout Europe

PowerMAX self-propelled unit passes the acid test For several years now Faymonville has been able to establish itself with its inter-operable modular vehicles on the trans-port market of the „very big boys“ as well. We’ve already taken the next step in this segment with the self-propelled trailers of the PowerMAX product line.

„The classic self-propelled unit par excel-lence is the SPMC – an abbreviation derived from „Self-Propelled Modular Trailer with Conventional Steering”. It is virtually the „make brother“ of the APMC, which can uti-lise three modes: trailer mode, assist mode or self-propelled mode“, explains Product Manager Rainer Noe, who is in charge of the continuous further development of this ve-hicle line. In order to put the SPMC through comprehensive testing in actual practice, we were able to convince the internationally- operating firm Sarens, a specialist from the heavy transport sector, to join us in a collab-oration. An ideal partner for subjecting the SPMC PowerMAX to a range of challenges. One such challenge was found for example in Ludwigshafen (Germany), where the PowerMAX on the BASF plant grounds shouldered a 240-tonne load in a project coordinated by Sarens. At the same time, another assignment in the French Fos-sur-Mer offered an excellent test of strength. At the steel giant Arcelor Mittal, one had to trans-

port a molten iron container weighing around 400 tonnes over a distance of nearly two kilometres „off-road“. Faymonville specialist Alfons Rupp was present for both deploy-ments to provide practical assistance. „At the end of the day, Sarens was very pleased with our self-propelled unit. We coordinated close-ly and exchanged information after the vari-ous project deployments, so as to allow us to make further improvements“. And, once the tests had been successfully passed, this trust-ing collaboration culminated in the Sarens company definitively taking over the SPMC from Faymonville.

The self-propelled unit is a real „muscle man“, since with its 170kN traction per driven axle line, it offers sheer endless power. Sever-al modules with driven axles can be powered by our high-performance 240kW Powerpack. This allows loads of several thousand tonnes to be moved easily and safely by optimally distributing the driving forces.„Easy handling is of vital importance for such complex vehicles. Sarens appreciated that in the concrete use situations“, notes Alfons Rupp, alluding to the operation of Faymonville’s SPMC, which is based on a completely new, user-friendly system.

Easy handling is important for such complex vehicle types, something that is absolutely assured with the self-propelled SPMC

Using a clear touchscreen display, all relevant processing and transport data are quickly and understandably presented. When several vehicles are connected in a group, the driver is immediately provided with a clear visual overview of the settings that have been made. The main displays on the remote control are freely configurable. Thus each person can constantly monitor the data that is most important to him.

Highly-advanced machinery park reflects quality standards

Plant in Poland expands its possibilities

The managers around Yves Faymonville place particular value on this aspect, and it reflects their own quality standard as well. „It´s only under the best conditions that you get the best results at the end of the production chain“. Investments in the infrastructure and its contents receive top priority. The most recent example of this was the completion of the site expansion in Goleniów (Poland). „It was pos-sible to increase the production surface area there by another 6,000 m², so that it now totals 21,560 m². We packed into the newly-erected halls a bundle of know-how that satisfies the very highest technical standards“, accord-ing to Yves Faymonville, describing the most modern equipment that was integrated into the working circuit. This applies for example to a supplementary cutting system composed of a torch cutting machine with plasma head for the weld seam preparation with a possible phase angle set-

ting of a maximum of 52 degrees. In addition there is an oxyacetylene blowtorch station for cutting thicknesses up to 260 mm. And thirdly the smallest holes can be bored in steel plates by means of a spiral drill. On a 38 metre-long and 3.5 metre-wide preparation table, parallel to an ongoing cutting process the next steel plate can already be prepared and clamped down. Beyond this there is the impressive-look-ing hydraulic edging press in tandem, which

recently also found its place in the new halls. With a pressure force of 2 x 12,500 kN, it´s a true „power pack“. There are almost no limits to the ways one can work with this machine. Up to 14 metre-long steel plates can be edge-trimmed on the imposing machine. Earlier models couldn´t go beyond 4 metres. „This also increases the quality of the chassis of the semi-trailers, for which such long profiles are intended.“ For Yves Faymonville, the advantages are obvious.

„Because this means that fewer welding seams are necessary when putting together the chassis. In turn, this higher processing precision makes possible a further increase in quality“. A new vertical boring mill was also integrated into the machinery park in Goleniów. Two ad-ditional versions of this type should shortly be added in the parent plant in Büllingen. In the meantime, around 150 employees are working in Goleniów, active as tried-and- tested professionals in the areas of welding, machine operation and assembly. Thanks to all the newly acquired equipment, the plant can now operate virtually autonomously on all processing levels.

The most modern technology to produce the highest quality products. At Faymonville, the new torch cutting machine enables a maximum of processing precision.

It´s no accident that visitors to the halls of Faymonville´s three produc-tion sites come away from plant tours struck with amazement, because the machines used in the different sections and work stages correspond to the most modern technology that the market has to offer.

Faymonville opens branch establishment in France

New mainstay in ParisThe greater Paris metropolitan area, with around 10 million inhabitants, constitutes the heart of France. Faymonville has now opened up its own branch establishment just outside the always pulsating capital.

The nearby town of Villeron was chosen as the new company site, and the employees recently moved into the offices there. So ef-fective immediately we’re offering a perma-nent point of contact to the French clientele of this region. „The region in and around Paris was long served directly by Faymonville.

Via this branch establishment, we now wish to get even closer to the customers, just as the various dealers in other parts of the country are also doing“, says Gener-al Manager Alain Faymonville, explaining the reasons behind this strategic expansion. That Paris was selected, moreover, has very

simple geographical reasons, „in the final analysis, almost one-sixth of the entire French population lives in this core region“. Thus Faymonville is intentionally coming closer to its customers and to do so is consciously creating the space and possibilities for optimal human relations - both in product

consultation and project supervision, and for sales on site. „Stock vehicles from our entire product line are directly available on the Villeron site. If necessary, our dealers can draw on this vehicle pool as well.“ Moreover, according to Alain Faymonville, in the medium term the Paris branch will continue to develop and will soon offer the tried-and-tested and universal-ly-appreciated complete service. „We antici-pate that as of spring 2015, spare parts will also be available there, and a modern work-shop will make it possible to maintain and re-pair the various semi-trailers“. The „Hexagon“ (as France is often referred to because of its shape) has always been one of Faymonville´s core markets in Europe. A broad sales network consisting of our own distribution staff plus selected dealers handle the distribution from Lille to Nice and from Caen to Straßbourg, and our „Faymonville Distribution France“ site will now be integrated into this existing structure. Along with the production works in Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland and the service station set up last spring in Russia, Faymonville Distribution France fits neat-ly into the ever-expanding network of the Belgian manufacturer´s international locations.

The branch establishment in Villeron outside Paris offers customers a direct contact point with immediately available vehicles in stock.

ALS Remorques and Trailerpartner A/S: distribution partners for more than 20 years

Trusting collaboration

In the meantime, these collaborations have been going on for over 20 years. ALS Remorques is established in St. Rambert d´Albon (near Lyons) and was founded in 1993. Within a year after its start-up, General Manager Didier Lagouy had add-ed the Faymonville products to his portfolio. The firm offers the semi-trailers from the different product families as new or used ve-hicles and, thanks to their wide variety, it has developed into a one-stop shop for the trans-port sector in eastern France. „In its own development ALS Remorques has constantly kept pace with our own. They be-gan with the sale of products, but very quickly expanded into the areas of service and the re-placement parts trade“, as General Manager Alain Faymonville describes the positive de-velopment of the partner from France. And it even went a step further, because in the meantime financing formulas also form part of the French company’s core business.

„They focused on segments similar to ours and then built them up on the regional mar-ket.“ For Alain Faymonville there are clear parallels in the strategic orientation of the two partners.

Intensification of the relations thanks to MAX Trailer Faymonville also counts on continuity when dealing with the Danish transport market. For more than two decades Trailerpartner A/S has been a reliable partner and dealer in Denmark. For Alain Faymonville, its discreet working methods constitute an important

strength. „Numerous projects are efficient-ly completed there. Trailerpartner A/S has been able to firmly establish the Faymonville products on the national transport market“. This is also confirmed by Lars Sörensen, General Manager of the Danish partner. „It´s a strong combination: together we´ve man-aged to make Faymonville the market leader in the low loader segment in Denmark“. Lars Sörensen and his company are estab-lished in Aabenraa, where they offer spe-cial semi-trailers of all types. In addition to Faymonville´s MultiMAX and Co., since 2012 the full range of MAX trailers have also been included. This led to an intensification of

the relations, which is also important for ALS Remorques. Because they too have been the official MAX Trailer dealer in France ever since the market introduction. The collaboration between Faymonville and its marketing partners is characterised by seriousness and continuity. On this solid basis, future projects such as the new CombiMAX concept are also being success- fully brought to the customers.

Together with Trailerpartner A/S, Faymonville became the market leader in Denmark

On the regional scale, ALS Remorques is active in the same segments as Faymonville

Two of the most prominent members of Faymonville´s dealer network are the French firm ALS Remorques and the Danish company Trailerpartner A/S – both of them foundation stones for the international distribution of the compa-ny’s semi-trailers.

NEWS TO THE MAX

Sachs Trans ordered semi-trailer with independent wheel suspension

Successful Twin Axle II-principle is running in PolandSince the launch of the new evolution of the independent wheel suspension ‘Twin Axle II’ two years ago, the principle is set to quickly gain market approval.

The conception was completed by a complex test run program in which over 50,000 kilom-eters were clocked up with a maximum load. Following this, more and more customers have approached the Belgian constructor and ordered semi-trailers or low loaders with Twin Axle II independent wheel suspension.

This now also includes the Sachs Trans company from Poland. There is close co-operation between the transport company and Faymonville. Two Faymonville trailers are operating within the large fleet of 175 modern vehicles. An extendable 2-axle MegaMAX low bed trailer with pendle axles and vessel bridge came first, and now Sachs Trans has chosen a 5-axle MultiMAX semi-trailer with three exten-sions, hydraulic steering and equipped with the Twin Axle II single-wheel suspension. “Sachs Trans was convinced by this suspen-sion type and has opted for this high qual-ity product from the Faymonville range”, says Krzysztof Bartosik, sales representa-tive in Poland. The MultiMAX semi-trailer is very compact and even with three exten-sions, the basic length of trailer and truck remains within the legal limit of 16.5 meters, meaning that no supplementary permit is required.

Easy and user-friendly handling

Founded in 1986, Sachs Trans, owned by Marek Sachs, is a fast-growing transport company from Poland. The highest quality of service, professionalism and reliability are the keys to their success. Sachs operates throughout the whole of the European conti-nent and the low tare weight of the MultiMAX (Twin Axle II) is an important factor for this geographical scope. The same is true for the high payload of 12 tons per axle, which is cru-cial for further expansion on the German mar-

ket. “For the Polish market, the ‘Twin Axle II’ principle has many advantages, because this payload opens up potential transport opportu-nities in Germany”, Krzysztof Bartosik points out, emphasising the importance of Poland’s large neighbour.Another important factor is that the handling of the MultiMAX with independent wheel has proved to be easy and user-friendly. The load-ing height can be decreased to 780 mm above the chassis (even in the triple extendable ver-sion), a significant advantage for transporting high merchandise. Optimized maintenance

costs and profitability, along with an optimal ratio between kilometers and costs, will be achieved with the Twin Axle II. Lighter, more robust and flexible rigid central beams are able to be used thanks to the individual wheel suspension without a continuous body axle. The recognised Faymonville quality is also guaranteed where the manufacture of the trailer is concerned. For the long-term pro-tection of the surfaces of the semi-trail-er, Faymonville uses MAXProtect+, a fully coordinated and meticulously optimized surface treatment system. NEWS TO THE MAX

For the Belgian producer, this form of support constitutes part of the overall service pack-age, because - ideally - all of that technical know-how concerning the vehicles should as far as possible be able to be used out in the field as well. Experts from Faymonville ex-plain to the user all of the relevant use possi-bilities as well as the technical functioning of the respective semi-trailer, and they do so in a practice-oriented, technically competent and uncomplicated manner. This offer was taken up recently by the com-pany SDK Magistral from Samara (Russia), whose vehicle fleet includes eight axle lines of Faymonville´s S-module series. They were also equipped with a power pack unit (PPU), which makes self-propulsion without a tractor unit possible. „For a full day Sergey Astakhov, as representative of SDK Magistral, received a „workshop“ on his new vehicle in our Russian Faymonville branch establishment in Noginsk, near Moscow. There our special-ist Alexander Dikarev welcomed him and ex-

plained in detail how, for example, the assem-bly of the module lines on the PPU works“, as Pavel Pavin, member of distribution staff for Faymonville in Russia, describes this inten-sive yet extremely important training. After the learning day spent in Noginsk, SDK Magistral could pilot its module axle lines together with PPU back to the homeland with-out difficulty. It went nearly 1000 kilometres in the direction of Samara, an industrial city in

the south of the European part of Russia, right on the Volga River. The order book already contained a number of projects for the new combination. And in this case Faymonville even went a step further in customer care: to make sure that the customer was also able to conduct its first actual transports without a hitch, a Faymonville specialist travelled to the large Russian city in order to watch over the project. Further specific instructions aid-

ed SDK Magistral to immediately implement its transports by means of the modular axle lines. Thus did function-oriented and concrete, use-focused instruction perfectly comple-ment with one another. For the Russian com-pany, the S-modules together with the power pack proved to be a highly successful product, because it allows many orders to be carried out for the chemical, gas and oil industries. One trusts Faymonville’s technical maturity and appreciates its exceptional quality. So it´s no accident that with a MultiMAX low loader and a 2 plus 5-axle VarioMAX low-bed trailer further power pack units of the Belgian man-ufacturer for SDK Magistral around Samara and beyond meet the most difficult transport challenges on a daily basis.

Only the proper handling of a pro-duct guarantees that it will be used in an optimum manner. By giving explicit instructions on the use of its vehicles, Faymonville trains its customers as needed before the very first transport.
