Bogies The FLEXX Fit bogies offer excellent ride quality by virtue of their spring bolster concept, they are easy to maintain and provide the highest levels of reliability and availability. The axle guidance with leafsprings is rugged and mainte- nance free. The FLEXX Fit bogies are suitable for 2 to 4 axle-mounted disc brakes per axle. The FLEXX Fit design is robust and easy to adapt to different speed levels (160 to 280 km/h) thanks to several brake system and yaw damping options. Over 7,000 FLEXX Fit bogies are currently in operaton in e.g. Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The picture shows a FLEXX Fit bogie in ICE I** service in Germany.
