• Designed to guarantee admission to academically qualified students from our service and admission region (Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Solano counties).
• Any academically qualified California resident who has completed the requirements for the Associate Degree for Transfer in a similar major is also guaranteed admission, regardless of county.

Students are first admitted to Cal State East Bay as “Undeclared‐ Interest in Nursing” and must apply directly to the Nursing B.S. major by the departmental deadlines.

Admission Next Steps
Check your MyCSUEB To Do list and Horizon email regularly!
• After the application is received, students are sent both a letter and email with their Cal State East Bay
NetID. It will include instructions on how to activate the NetID.
• Students will then be able to access their MyCSUEB portal and Horizon email account.
• Admission offers are sent by mail, email and posted in MyCSUEB, on a rolling basis starting in November.
Some students will need to send in partial transcripts in order for an admission offer to be made.
• Students are required to pay a $110 pre‐orientation deposit at the time they accept admission.
