Might be a little cliché to start off with but worthy to do so anyway. The Chinese sign of crisis, also holds the sign opportunity within. This is exactly what we saw after the teams we used to be part off, disbanded for various reasons.

These times will define individuals, and make grownup man from These times will define individuals, and make grownup man from snotty nosed boy’s. We seized the opportunity, of having no team or sponsor, to think out of the box and find a new way to revive Dutch paintball. In our quest, we have consolidated the best that Dutch paintball scène has to offer, and created a true powerhouse team. Amstedam HEAT saw daylight for the first time.

Amsterdam HEAT consists out of two teams and it’s program is Amsterdam HEAT consists out of two teams and it’s program is directly aligned with the Dutch Paintball Institute. This partnership dictates that HEAT is here to create more awareness for the sportive side of paintball in the Netherlands and abroad. In order to create awareness it is of the up most importance, that we reach our goals as athletes and therefore reach the vast majority. All in all with the end goal of creating sustainable growth of the dutch paintball scene.

Amsterdam HEAT will be contending in all the big leagues in Europe. Amsterdam HEAT will be contending in all the big leagues in Europe. Playing , for the first time in the Dutch history, CPL in the Millennium Series. HEAT will also contend in the 1st Bundesliga, 3th Bundesliga, Dutch paintball league and various smaller tournaments.

We had the chance to have a talk with Tom Rust over at Planet Eclipse. Here are his thoughts on a subject of great importance within our sport, Sponsoring.

As of 2011 Yilkee Lam, known by many paintball players for his outstanding work as a paintball photographer, will be partnering up with Go Beyond.

He will provide us with interesting con-tent, his great personality….and ofcourse his service as a photographer.

Yilkee has had his years of glory and struggle like all of us had on the paint-ball field but decided to fully focus on combining his skills as a photographer with his favorite sport. The last couple of years he has shown us how beautifull, atheletic and awesome paintball can be captured in a single frame.captured in a single frame.

If you would like to see more of Yilkee’s work be sure to check out our brand new website and the upcoming editions of the Go Beyond Magazine.

The Dutch Paintball InstituteEvery Big change starts off with a crazy somewhat ideologicalidea. Most of these idea’s fade out before even making it tothe drawing board. But once in every few decades, new conditionsmanifest, atmosphere and perception of the situation ignitesthe sense of urgency to change. We painfully become aware ofthe facts that holding on to our status quo, is more destructiveand will lead to unforeseen consequences. Those are the times whenand will lead to unforeseen consequences. Those are the times whencrazy long shots become valid options. The conditions and needfor major restructuring are now, to feed of the sense of urgencyand capitalize on this pivot point. It is time for an overhaul; it istime for a change of the Dutch paintball Scene.

The Dutch scene has been pestered for the last decade by different interests of both fields and shops. Companies or shops only facilitate Sup-Air from a money generating perspective. Due to its lack off sustainable growth, most of the Sup-Air fields don’t make it past their first year. This results in having no Sup-Air fields in the Netherlands or having to go to either Germany or Bel-gium for practices. Although it has been a rough time for teams and their sponsors, the paintball population in the Netherlands didn’t show a decrease in participants. This might be somewhat of a paradox, when taking in regard in participants. This might be somewhat of a paradox, when taking in regard that the total paintball/incentives market has plummeted by 40% only last year. This is a strong sign of the addictive side of our sport. In order to create a sustainable platform for growth, we are pushing forward in institutionaliz-ing the scene by creating a platform on a not for profit base.

This is when the ‘’Dutch paintball institute’’ sees light for the first time. The basis of the idea, is not only the setup a facilitating institute. Simultaneously creating an independent platform (not for profit) to consolidate different players from different origins without creating an unintended collapse of their mother teams. By joining the forces, we manage to capitalize on the best players the Netherlands has to offer.

Our Main goal is to realize more influence, by generating competitive results. Our Main goal is to realize more influence, by generating competitive results. The sportive results will gain a higher awareness and exposure to the people not familiar with paintball. Therefore awareness follows up exposure, which on the long term results in sustainable growth of the Dutch paintball popula-tion.

Concept

MissionLeading in landscaping the Dutch paintball scene, in botha sportive manner as well as recreational. Creating growthfrom bottom up.

VisionSustainable growth is generated by exposure. Exposure ofthe sport is accomplished by achieving competitive sport results.the sport is accomplished by achieving competitive sport results.

StrategyBy consolidation of the Dutch finest paintballers in a not for profitorganization we create a stable environment, due its dependedindependency. Therefore we manage to secure knowledge and providea platform to play, practise or get in touch with our sport.

Amsterdam Sabotage and Amsterdam Xistence align their forces and play-ers forming Amsterdam HEAT. Instead of dividing the powers, we are com-bining them up. Therefore we realize a better organized team; creating more synergy while at the same time securing a longer life-cycle. Due to the fact of its independency to third parties, the Dutch paintball institute will play a major part in assigning the top Dutch players for the nations cup in Paris. HEAT as a new powerhouse team, already exists of the best that Dutch paintball has to offer and therefore can already be considered as our national Dutch pride.
