Position Announcement President & CEO Overview. The Chason Group, Inc., in collaboration with POWER 10, has been selected to conduct an executive search for a professional to serve as President and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce in Alpharetta, Georgia. Tim Chason and Randy Cardoza of The Chason Group are working with the GNFCC leadership to coordinate the executive search. About the Greater North Fulton Chamber. The Chamber has been a catalyst for economic development, business growth and quality of life for North Fulton County for decades. With a membership base of over 1,400, the organization is recognized for fostering strong business to government relations and aggressively advocating infrastructure improvements for the region. Some of the Chamber’s cornerstone programs include the Talent Coalition, a federation of business executives designed to develop a globally competitive workforce in healthcare and technology; Leadership North Fulton; Emerging Leaders Program; Women in Business; Young Business Professionals; and Tech400. The Chamber geographically represents the areas of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, Roswell and Sandy Springs. Position Responsibilities. The President and CEO is assigned to provide executive leadership to the Chamber. The professional reports to the Board of Directors through an elected Chair. Financial management, human resources development, and strategic planning and implementation are the key responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications. The minimum qualifications for the President’s position include: Bachelor’s degree, ideally with other post graduate work, from an accredited college or equivalent experience; a minimum of ten years of executive management leadership experience in the business, economic development and/or community development field(s). Key Skill Sets. The Chamber’s Search Committee is seeking a savvy communicator and professional leader who has the capacity to establish value- added relationships with business, government and community groups and individuals to foster and retain the quality of life in the North Fulton region. The President should possess the ability to strategically develop new streams of revenue and evaluate current paths for relevancy and efficiency. Proven organizational experience with a nonprofit and / or business is required.

The Region. Approximately 20 miles north ofdowntown Atlanta, the north Fulton area is thestrongest business corridor in the Metro Atlantaregion. Population estimates are currently in the379,000 realm. Projections indicate the area willjump to 408,000 citizens by 2021. The currentmedian household income is $89,377 with 2021estimates reaching to $100,342. Healthcare and ITdominate the job market in North Fulton. Thereare 113,748 healthcare and 95,513 IT positions inthe defined region today.

Existing Businesses. North Fulton is headquartersto four Fortune 500 companies: FirstData, Intercontinental Exchange, UPS, and Veritiv.With a business climate that is renowned for itsavailable, affordable buildings and developablesites, well-educated workforce, and wide-rangingarray of business services and benefits, NorthFulton has attracted businesses from internationalconglomerates, high-tech research firms and
