Introduction Congratulations on applying for one our teaching positions at Gleniti School. We are certainly very proud of what we are able to offer here. Gleniti School is a growing school of 365 (February 2019) pupils and seventeen full-time classrooms. During 2017 the school implemented an enrolment zone in order to manage our climbing roll. The purpose of this folder is to provide sufficient background information for applications to the position of Teacher, Gleniti School, to understand the nature of the position. It is not exhaustive, and further information may be obtained from the Principal, Gleniti School. We recommend that you take a look at our website, www.gleniti.school.nz and our Facebook page. The School Type of School Gleniti School is a Full Primary School in Timaru, South Canterbury. School Grading Gleniti is a U5 Primary School. General Description of the school: Gleniti School has a staffing roll of 17 full time classrooms. The school is a full school with a roll of 365 pupils. Our decile rating is 9. The school is complemented by a very hard working PTA, and an up to date Board of Trustees. In tandem these organizations provide the pupils of Gleniti School with an excellent base to their education. Of course the school is also more than ably supported by an excellent teaching staff that is thoroughly committed to their profession!
