New in the Fall 2018, our girls’ and boy’s jun-
ior swim team is an opportunity for students
in grades 2-5, who already know how to
swim, to perfect their swim strokes and have
fun competing with their friends. The junior
swim teams will run each day from 3:30 p.m.

Adult Swim Lesson Class Schedule:
7:00 p.m. — 7:45 p.m. — Adult Lessons
Classes will meet each Wednesday evening dur-
ing the above time frame.

Rent the Kent City Pool for your next party! Cost is $80 per hour for less than 35 people and $160 per hour for more than 35 people .
A Kent City Tradition!
In the Great Lakes state, the ability to
swim is essential for anyone who wishes to
enjoy the natural resources our beautiful
state has to offer. Kent City has a long
history of teaching children the enjoyment
that comes along with swimming, dating
back to swim lessons at Half Moon
Lake. Then, in 1975, Kent City built a
brand new high school that included a
pool, which to this day, remains the only
public pool in the area. Over the years,
thousands of children have learned to
swim at the Kent City Pool. We are
carrying on with this service to our
community offering swim lessons for a
wide-spectrum of ages from infants to
adults.
Swim Lesson Descriptions
Aqua Tots: This class is designed for
children between the ages of 6 months
and approximately 3 years with the
water and swimming readiness skills.
Parents join their children in the water.
Preschool: This class is for children
between the ages of 3 to 4 years old
and teaches them basic rudimentary
aquatic skills.
Basic/Upper Basic: These classes
are designed to teach children ages 5 –
12 basic aquatic skills. Children who
are experienced in the water but can
not swim laps will be placed in the
Upper Basic class. If possible, we will
divide classes by similar aged children.
Intermediate/Advanced: This class
is designed for children who are ready
to swim laps. We will cater the
instruction to the ability of the
participants in the class.
Adult Swim Lessons: This class is
designed for anyone ages 13+ who
wants to learn to swim or improve on
their current abilities.

vember 29 (No class on Thanksgiving Day)

6:30 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.— Aqua Tots/Preschool
7:15 p.m.— 8:00 p.m. — Basic /Upper Basic
7:15 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. — Intermediate/Advanced
Saturday Morning Swim Lessons
