A special event demands a special setting.The Irving S. Gilmore Theatre Complex houses some of Southwest Michigan’s best theatrical talent, and now can become the unique setting for your private wedding, holiday party, or corporate event.

Featuring numerous spacious and flexible spaces that can adapt to your specific needs the Gilmore Theatre Complex is an exquisite place to entertain your guests or conduct business better than usual.

SHAW THEATRE

ATRIUM LOBBY

Shaw Theatre is a traditional proscenium theatre. Seating up to 541 guests, this space is ideal for dance concerts, theat-rical productions, and lectures. If you’re looking to use the space non-traditionally you can host numerous events on the actual stage floor. The 2400 square feet of stage floor lends itself to large dinner parties among other exciting possibili-ties.

A large and expansive open area, the Atrium Lobby is en-closed by a large bay window with pedestrian balcony providing beautiful natural light for daytime events. Minimal lighting and sound elements can be configured for dinners, cabaret style concerts, and wedding ceremonies.

YORK THEATREThe York Theatre is a 1600 square foot black box theatre space that can seat up to 100 in a flexible arrangement. This smaller, more intimate space, is often used for smaller receptions and theatre and dance rehearsals.

WILLIAMS THEATREThis 70’ x 70’ flexible black box theatre seats anywhere from 270 to 350 patrons in variable seating configurations depending on your event’s specific goals. The Williams The-atre can also be stripped down to a bare 4900 square foot sprung stage floor that can seat 250 guests ideal for a wed-ding reception. Overhead you’ll find a full fly house that can hang anything from lighting and sets to party decorations.

CONFERENCE ROOMLocated on the lower level, the Conference Room is an ideal space for business meetings and planning sessions. A large conference table surrounded by 18 chairs provides a perfect seating arrangement for round table discussions and meetings.

ACTING STUDIOComplete with a sprung floor and large mirrors this is an excellent space for rehearsals. Located in the heart of the Gilmore Theatre Complex, the Acting Studio is also a per-fect holding room for your event.
