After trying to schedule a surprise attack on Spanish possessions in Mississippi, and feeling as though the country was ungrateful after Genet's recall, Clark started excessively drinking and lived the rest of his life in isolation. • My Opinion George Rogers Clark is I think that he was a great man. He fought for freedom hundreds of years ago and I think he deserved more appreciation for that when he was still alive.
