Our study of Islam must begin with a look at the geography of the

Arabian Peninsula, where Islam was first preached.

Where in the World?

• The Arabian peninsula

is located in the southwestern corner of the continent of Asia.

• Today it is made up of the countries of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrian and Kuwait.
