Dans les années 70, Albini & Fontanot

se lance dans un long parcours de

rénovation pour transformer l’escalier,

produit typiquement artisanal, en un

Staircases of the Genius collection are characterised by their sturdy treads and railing handrails, both of which are made of solid beech and come in four different shades. Regarding the finish on wooden components, Fontanot adopts a special varnishing procedure with water-based products combined with a UV-light catalysation process that eliminates harmful emissions. The end result yields an ecological, non-toxic tread that is natural to the touch and includes a high-grade finish resistant to abrasion and ageing.

Les escaliers de la collection Genius se distinguent par la solidité de leurs marches et de la main-courante de leurs garde-corps, réalisées en hêtre massif dans quatre couleur au choix. Pour la finition des parties en bois, Fontanot utilise un système spécial de peinture en phase aqueuse et de catalysation aux rayons ultraviolets qui supprime l’émission de substances nocives. Résultat: une marche écologique, atoxique, naturelle au toucher, à la finition recherchée, résistante à l’abrasion et aux marques du temps qui passe.

Railings of the Genius collection allow for customising any type of masonry staircase in a light, safe and elegant manner. The 010 railing comprises a solid beech handrail that is securely fixed to the steel balusters with circular cross-section and 27 mm diameter. The balusters are joined by five stainless steel longitudinal cables; all the fixing elements and joints are made of painted metal while the railing cable glands and cable end

fittings are treated with a stainless steel finish.The 020 railing comprises square-base balusters measuring 20x20 mm that are anchored to the floor using square fixing elements with circular base.Both railings can be fixed to the side of the masonry staircase with fixings that are adjustable in height.

For correctly determining the dimensions (refer to the tables attached to the drawings), the following indications must be taken into account:_The goings (P) are adjustable continuously from 19 cm to 22.5 cm and from 22.5 cm to 26 cm, excluding the final going._Each rise varies from 18 cm to 23 cm, by 0.5 cm at a time._The treads are available in sizes (width - L) 67, 74, 81, 88 and 95 cm._The final tread (C) level is always stepped compared to the floor. _During installation, the going of the final tread (C) can be adjusted to 26.5, 29 or 32 cm._Due to the features of the staircase finish, installation is carried out only once work inside the home has been completed.

Pour une détermination correcte des encombrements (voir tableaux joints aux dessins) il faut tenir compte des indications suivantes:_Les girons (P) sont réglables en continuité de 19 à 22,5 et de 22,5 à 26 cm sauf le dernier._Chaque hauteur de marche peut varier de 18 à 23 cm avec une variation de 0,5 cm à la fois._Les marches sont disponibles en 67, 74, 81, 88 et 95 cm de large (L)._La dernière marche (C) est toujours disposée en porte-à-faux par rapport au sol._Lors de la pose, il est possible de régler le giron de la dernière marche (C) de 26,5 à 29 ou 32 cm._De par ses caractéristiques de finition, l’escalier doit être monté dans un intérieur entièrement fini.

Les fixations ont lieu au moyen de goujon à expansion.

Para determinar correctamente las dimensiones máximas (véanse las tablas adjuntas a los dibujos) hay que tomar en cuenta las siguientes indicaciones:_Las huellas (P) pueden regularse con continuidad de 19 a 22,5 y de 22,5 a 26 cm, salvo en el caso de la última._Cada contrahuella se puede regular de 18 a 23 cm con variación de 0,5 cm a la vez._Los peldaños están disponibles con anchos (L) de 67, 74, 81, 88 y 95 cm._El último peldaño (C) siempre se sitúa con saledizo respecto al pavimento._Durante la instalación, es posible regular la huella del último peldaño (C) de acuerdo a las siguientes medidas: 26,5 – 29 - 32 cm._Por sus características de acabado, la escalera se pone en servicio cuando la vivienda está completamente terminada.

De hecho, las fijaciones se realizan con tacos de expansión.
