We should learn:

- to enlarge our knowledge, to become more self-confident and to improve our relationships with the others.

- to acquire the skills you may need in our life

- to satisfy our curiosity and our thirst for knowledge

- because it is very funny

- to open our mind and improve our opinions

- to know traditions and culture of different countries

Students can cope with a lot of different problems at school. Some of students are pupils with special needs due to mental retardations, illnesses, lack of attention, demotivation because of social problems . In Italy they can have a learning support teacher and an individual school planning. Pupils sometimes have difficult to compare their opinions without the teachers helping. They don’t often have a good study method.

Teachers encourage students to face and overcome school difficulties and teach them the right study method. Useful tips for a successful study method:

- plan your duty

- organize and tidying your work materials

- make tables, diagrams, maps

- work in a tidy, welcoming and stimulating environment

- study in short and frequent sessions

- learn to use didactic tools such as internet, books and so on..

- practise the four different learning skills: Listening, visual observation, reading and analyses.

- Peer- to- peer, tutoring help, cooperative learning A successful learning can be achieved by fun learning activities involving the four senses: role play, songs, music…

Why should we learn?
