9E.03 EXHAUST SYSTEM 5000

PERFORMANCEThe RESONABTOR® replaces the standstill in the acoustic development for exhaust systems. Its mechanical properties overtop those of the historical silencers baffles many times and makes the life-time of the RESONABTOR® the longest ever for silencer equipment in such harsh operation environment. Due to its properties as a flow straightener the RESONABTOR® reduces the pressure loss in the bypass system up to 45 %. Its highly efficient 3-D sound attenuation capability permits smaller building sizes and reduces therefore the investments in Exhaust Systems.

The 9E.03 Exhaust System whether for Simple Cycle or Combined Cycle embodies the COMPACT Global DNA of the sophisticated internal insulation system quietCOOL™which is the basis for the unique panel design. Fabrication, assembly at site and installation costs are drastically reduced, plus the savings by PACK & GO™ transport in sea freight containers. The internal insulation cladding system of 99.95 % gas tightness with a sound attenuation capability of > 9 dB is the advanced technology for a safe work environment.

The 9E.03 Diverter was inspired by the spectacular success of his fleet brother the D3000. It embodies the COMPACT Global DNA in its purest form - legendary performance coupled with absolute controllability. Advanced technologies ensure that they are always safe to operate with maximum efficiency.

9E.03 DIVERTER D5000

THE FACTSIn designing and developing GRAVIMOV®maximum efficiency and safety was in the spotlight. Low-friction technology and optimized aerodynamics of the Diverter-Flap reduces the necessary torque to less than 100,000 Nm at full controllability. The power consumption of the drive is only at 4.0 KW.

A internal insulation cladding system of 99.95 % gas tightness with a sound attenuation capability of > 9 dB is the advanced technology for a safe work environment.

quietCOOL™

The sophisticated internal insulation system is the basis for the panel design system. Fabrication, but also installation cost are drastically reduced, topped by the savings by transport in sea freight containers.

Whether electric actuator or hydraulic COMPACTdrive, the power consumption for both technologies are overwhelming low at 4,0 KW only, because of GRAVIMOV® the counter-weight balanced Diverter powertrain. Over the entire pivoting range of the Diverter-Flap always a smooth and vibration-free operation is guaranteed. No brake or buffer system is necessary to stop the Diverter-Flap once operating from bypass position downwards.

THE FACTSInControl is our electronic solution that interconnects the DCS with the Diverter D5000. Two InControl packages are available: InControlas per GE specifications or InControl in standard version.

INCONTROL

The touch free seal seat saves huge maintenance cost. Once installed it seals forever and makes lamella seals and their continuous exchange obsolete. Usually every 8000 h to 16000 h lamella seals have to be replaced. First the lamella seals are very expensive, second the plant shut down time to replace the lamella seals counts multiple more. With our latest patented development we offer to the market a huge advantage for savings of maintenance cost.

100 % SEALING EFFICIENCY

To reduce friction to its maximum, we use double spherical roller bearings and self-aligning shaft seals. Both components are designed for the lifetime of the diverter and maintenance-free.

AERODYNAMIC

THE FACTSThe between the Diverter-Shaft and the Diverter-Flap integrated flow straightener is optimizing the flow profile of the crossing over flow in any modulation position of the Diverter-Flap. The flow profile towards the HRSG is therefore distributed over the entire surface of the heater section in any modulating position the Diverter-Flap is set.

CROSS OVER FLOW

The entire Diverter-Flap is flow optimized. All around there are no gaps or openings where the turbulent flow can excites the Diverter-Flap into vibration. Full and unlimited modulation in any position in the range of 1° to 89° is guaranteed.

TRANSPORTPACK & GO™

Transport plays a key role in the energy business. Winning a project often depends how clever the logistics have been planned, how the logistic costs have been cut. There are many major big components in a power station, the turbines and generators, the HRSG and the Exhaust System. COMPACT Global designs all components of the Exhaust System including RESONABTOR® and Diverter thus they can be stored in containers. The transport cost are minimized to the maximum. Whether regular shipping line transport, or by truck or using railways, the Exhaust System transport in containers is ideal, even when to be send into remote areas.

We pack on packing racks ideally designed for container transport, stress free for the components to be transported. Potential acceleration and resulting mechanical, statically and dynamic forces occurred when transported by truck, train or ship transport, cannot damage the products. The container protects the products against any climate influence.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

Whether it is a greenfield or a replacement installation, cutting installation cost and time is a paramount factor in the total project success. It is the technology and only the technology which leads to the total project success. COMPACT Global is the only Exhaust System supplier world-wide who assembles Exhaust System by bolting. Literally no welding effort at site. The side panels transported in containers are bolted at the corner flanges and stacked one on top of the other to a Diffuser Duct, Diverter, Silencer Casing or Stack. The unique cladding system with 99.95 % tightness is the key technology for this cost saving solution.
