To approve order authorizing the transfer of funds, as outlined, to benefit theDepartmental Discretionary Account (DDA) of Constable Burl Jernigan, Precinct7, based on management initiatives that create a cost-savings to the taxpayer(commitment to hold a deputy constable position [#1405] vacant from January1, 2000 to October 1, 2000).

To approve order authorizing the Sheriff, at the request of the Jail ChemicalDependency Treatment Program (JCDTP) director, to offer a contract for no morethan 60 days, at a rate not to exceed $25.00 per hour, to qualified individualsserving the program as substance abuse counselors, as outlined.
