    to the company's commitment to Qatar'sinfrastructure and industrial growth, GE made

    a major investment in a GE Oil & Gas ServiceWorkshop in Ras Laffan to better serve its

    The Power Technology Center will provide the latestin repair technology or B, E and F gas turbines. Itwill also eature state-o-the- art coating acilities,lean ow/design or reduced time cycles, as well asa crane weight-capacity o 100 tons.

    A urther commitment to meet growingdemands or quality water treatments in theKingdom, a near US$10 million GE Saudi Water& Process Technology Center was recentlyinaugurated.

    The new Technology Center incorporates a

    blending plant or water treatment chemicalsand oers advanced water, water reuse,wastewater and process solutions to local andregional customers. It is the second GE Wateracility in the Gul, ollowing a recently openedmanuacturing acility and ofce complex inDubai, UAE. The new center marks another jointventure between GE and Al Tamimi Group.
