I am in the process of updating the information on the DMRTalkGroups. This information should be posted within the next fewweeks.

I know that Christmas is still four months away, but I wantedeveryone to know that the Grant County Amateur Radio Club'sChristmas Party has been set for December 11th at the SirloinStockade in Marion. The time is set for 6:00 PM until ?

In other news – Chad Sullivan (KC0OYW) had mentioned at thelast club meeting that on Sept 19th at the Gas City park that there wasgoing to be a get together for all the club's that participated in FieldDay this year. He also mentioned The Matthew Cover BridgeFestival about setting up radios in front of the bridge on September6th, 7th, and 8th. Chad also talked about a Clean up at White Riveron September 23rd. ONON THETHE AIRAIR

The last 3 pages are pictures of the 2019 Fly-In/Cruise-in at theMarion Airport that took place on Saturday August 31th. I want tothank Steve Shepler (WA9RVM), Mitch Miller (W9DDX) and JeffBanter (KB9CQZ) for showing up to help set up on Friday night(Aug 30th).

On Saturday (Aug 31st) Steve Shepler, Mitch Miller and myself setUp 4 radio stations that covered the 2 Meter repeater, the D-Starrepeater, the DMR repeater and a HF station. Mitch was able to makeone contact on HF. I made on contact on D-Star and one on DMR.The weather was somewhat cooperative. It was a little chilly withovercast but no rain.

I would like to pass on the following message I received from RayJohnson. “Outstanding job Nick! Thank you for your participation inthe Fly/In Cruise/In. Your display with the Army Trucks wasphenomenal! Would like you to build on that every year. That is yourreal estate!”

Looks like we have a place to set up again next year.
