GETTING AROUND DOWNTOWN AUSTIN GET TO RACE Gates open during event weekend at the Circuit of the Americas at 7:30 a.m. The Grand Prix race begins at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. All Grand Prix ticket holders are encouraged to use complimentary shuttles. Each ticket holder will be assigned a voucher via email directing to one of the two shuttle locations: • Intersection of 15th and Trinity streets in Downtown Austin (see inside map) • Travis County Expo Center, 7311 Decker Lane, in Northeast Travis County Arrive early, shuttle times may vary. SHUTTLE SCHEDULE Service from the shuttle hub to the track and back will continue throughout the race weekend. • Starts at 7 a.m. departing from both locations Friday, Saturday and Sunday. • Ends at 7 p.m. or 3.5 hours after the final scheduled racing event of the day. GROUND TRANSPORTATION A variety of transportation options are available. See inside map for information on downtown hubs. BICYCLE ROUTE Multiple group rides departing downtown are planned. Valet, showers and transportation are provided near the track. Info at www.atxgrandprix.org/gpmap. TRANSIT Capital Metro is Austin’s public transportation provider. Bookmark www.capmetro.org/f1 for schedules, route information and online trip planner. MOBILE APP A free Capital Metro app is available in the App Store or Google Play (Austin Capital Metro) to buy bus and rail passes or access a transit trip planner, route maps, detours, and other helpful event information. Purchase passes with the app from Nov. 10 to Nov. 24. AIRPORT TRANSIT MetroAirport bus service connects Central Austin and downtown to the airport, and will run every 15 minutes from Thursday, Nov. 15, to Monday, Nov. 19, for $1 each way. PASSENGER RAIL MetroRail connects the northern communities to Downtown Austin.
