1991 - 1994, Okanagan Aggregates & VSA Hiway Maintenance, Armstrong BC. Wheel loader and gravel/rock truck operator for rock crushing and asphalt plants for Hi-way construction and

paving operations all over BC and AB. Fast paced work environment feeding gravel to and product from the crushers, asphalt plant, loading trucks. responsibilities included organizing gravel pit traffic for specific product loading while ensuring the crushing

and paving plants stayed in operating specs in a safe manor. Power Van button operator for rock crushing plant, ensuring gravel specs and testing stayed within guidelines

for quality control and maximum production. All daily maintenance duties including cone liner adjustments.

1987 – 1990, Chaput Logging & Sand and Gravel, Lumby BC. This company purchased our family owned fence post and rail business. Log yard Foreman/Equipment operator, responsible for loading/unloading and stockpiling raw logs/gravel

on/off trucks and finished products onto transport trucks. Fence posts, rails, custom cut dimensional lumber, cedar shakes and slasher deck processing. Custom rock crushing and sand supplies for concrete bulk plants.

1981 – 1987, High Country Pole Fences Ltd. Lavington BC. Family owned logging business run by Fathers, Brothers and all the cousins. Supplying bulk orders of fencing

supplies and services including installation, service and maintenance of fences. Custom selective logging practices and learning how to operate equipment and tools safely.

I learned all the basics of safe work practices while I was young and they have stayed with me throughout my life.
