Distinguished Professor, CODES, UTASProfessor Large’s disnguished research career has focused on understanding how a diverse array of mineral deposits form and on using this knowledge to help industry find new depos-its. But he has now turned his geological skills to answering the most fundamental queson of all – what controlled the evoluon of life?

Executive director, BMC (UK) LtdDr Marn is a geologist with more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploraon and mining across a range of commodies including gold and base metals. His experience ranges from project generaon through to mining, and he is currently engaged with development of the Kudz Ze Kayah Project in Yukon, Canada.

Adjunct senior researcher, CODES, UTASDr McGoldrick is a former CODES and Earth Sciences staff member. He spent much of the past four decades studying sediment-hosted base metal deposits and has worked extensively in the Northern Australian basin systems, and Central African Copper Belt (DRC and Zambia).
