IntroductionThefollowingGanachakra(offering)practicehasbeentakenfromvarioussources:ThePujaprayerandoneprotectorsprayerfromtheLongchenNyingticcycle,the"SkyTrasuryMantra"fromtheRiwoSangchoffering,variousTantricsourcesforthe"VajraVidaranaNamaDharani",theLineageSupplicationofthe"QuintessentialPithKilaya"ritualofDzongsarKhyentseChokyLodr,aprayerofAuspisciousnesscomposedbyMipham,aconfessionritualfromaspirtualtreasurediscoveredbyDoKhyentseYesheDorje,theProtector'spracticeofDudjomRinpocheandtheSutra"NobleStackofAuspisciousness".GenerallyitistaughttoteachTantraonlytopeoplethathaverecievedempowermentandsoIconsideredifIshouldmakethismaterialavailablaatall.IhavepracticedandstudiedwithvariousLamassince1993andIwenttovariousVajrayanaSanghasandhadtheopportunitytoinvestigatehowTantraistaughtbyhighlyqualifiedLamasinordertolearnfromthem.InfactmanyhighlyrealizedteachersmadesimilarorthesameTantricmaterialsavailablefortheinterestedvisitorOnecanlearnGuruYogaandadditionalMantrasbypubliclyavailablebooks,mantrasaretaughtbyLamasintheinternetandprotectortextswheremadeavailableforbeginners,evenwithoutaAbisheka.InrelyingontheexampleofthisLamasIcametomyownpointofviewregardsthequestionofsecrecy:Therestrictedmaterialiswhateverwouldbeessentialymisunderstood,leadingtoaversionorabuseoftheVajrayana.Bythenatureofthematerialpresentedhere,Idonotseeadangertobemsiunderstoodinawaythatwouldproducenegativekarma.FurtheritcanprovideasourceofimmensmerittopracticethismaterialthereforeIdecidettomakeitavaialabletotheinterestedYogiorYogini.Allthesourcesofthisritualprovidehighlyeffectivemeansforaccumulatingmeritandwisdom.Itistreasuretextsandinstructionsgivenforlineagesofenlightendbeings,theyareverypowerfullmeanstobenefitsentientbeingsandthereforeweshouldrespectthem,likealltheteachingsofBuddha.Howdowecometotheconclusionthatthesepracticesareautentic?Itisbyunderstandingexactlythispointitwasnoordinarybeings,thatcomposedthisritualpractices,buthighlyaccomplishedmasters.ThecontentisdefinetlyBuddhaDharma,astheirunderstandingofDharmahadasit'ssourcetheirwisdommindinunionwiththeBuddhas,aswellasthescriptualsourcesofthetransmittedTantricteachings,thatgobacktovisionaryrevelationsofmanyBuddhas.Ganachakrapractice(alsocalled"Puja")meanstobringofferingstotheBuddhas,theBoddhisatvas,theDakinisandcertainprotectors.Itcanbedonedailyatthebest,butattheleastonfullandnewmoondays.Ifwepracticeitweshouldcontributeamaterialoffering,likesomefoodthenwemakeitinfiniteinourmindandofferallofexistence.Howcanweofferallofexistence,asweseemtobenotinposessionofit?Inrealityeveryoneofusisthecreatorofhisorhersuniverse.Everythingwepercieveisanornamentofourownmind'snatureandevenfurtherthanthat,inrealityweareallBuddhas,wejustdonotpercieveitthatway.Bythisviewitisentirelypossibletobringallofexistenceasoffering.Whyshouldwethennotkeepexistenceforourself,butpresentingittoothers?ItisthatselflessloveofBoddhicitta,theenlightendmind,whywewanttobenefitothersandwealsounderstandthatonlywhenwegiveeverythingtoeveryone,wewillaccomplishBuddhahoodaswithoutthisselflesslove,wecanneverachivethestateoftotalenlightenment.Thereforeweoffer.AndasthisritualsaregoingbacktotheactivityofBuddhas,weaccumulatealotofblessingsbypracticinginthatway.WhatisaProtectores(Dharmapalas)practice?TheprotectorsarepowerfullbeingsthatvowtoprotectthetransmitionofBuddhaDharmaandtheyprotectalsothosethatcanbecomeasourceoftransmittingit.Bymakingofferingstothem,weaccumulatespiritualmerit,purifynegativekarmaandcreatealinktotheprotectors.Wewillintroducefourprotectorsinthepractice:Ekazati,Mahakala,Mahadeva(Shiva)andMahadevi(Shivaswife,Parvati).TheprotectressEkazaitisthewisdomwrathoftheprimordialBuddhaSamantabhadri,wichistheMotherandQueenofalltheBuddhas.Therefore,inmyopinion,Sheisthehighest
