Thomas had two goals and two helpers for a sweet 4-point evening. The line of Bardaro, Gorman and Hardy proved to be a handful with ten points on the evening. The Wolf-Pack was able to contain the line for most of the first two frames, allowing one Hardy goal, but in the third period the line exploded for eight more points. On Saturday Sept 27th, the Kodiaks met the Black Panthers again for an exciting 6-5 shootout loss in Port Moody. They had a 4 - 1 lead, but were unable to sustain it due to penalty trouble. With 5 sec- onds left on the clock the Kodiaks were able to come back and tie the game! Nothing was settled in overtime, the Black Panthers won the game in a shoot out. The kodiaks came away from the game with one point, which enabled them to hold on to the lead in the Harold Brittain Conference. They play the Black Panthers again tonight at home and on Saturday Oct 4th, they are off to Squam- ish for their first game against the Squamish Wolf Pack. The Kodiaks will be back at home in Alder- grove on Wednesday Oct 8 th against the Mission Ice Breakers.
