The Gadsden IAAP Board is a great team that has worked together, individually and collectively with our membership. I must say that my co-board members deserve more recognition than I could ever give them because they are THE ONE! Thank you for letting me serve with you. As my last official activity as President, I attended the 61 st Alabama Division An- nual Meeting as delegate in Mobile last week. I was accompanied by Linda Hol- lingsworth, CAP, Corresponding Secre- tary and Alternate Delegate. You cannot leave this meeting without feeling you just had a big shot of enthusiasm as that is exactly what it is! The Mardi Gras at- mosphere was well presented in the theme, the food and the enthusiasm! The meeting started off with a wonderful presentation from national known speak- er/author Matt Jones. This was the beginning of the enthusiasm! His overall mes- sage to IAAP was “When it comes to your VICTORY, it’s not the outside stuff that matters but the inside stuff that counts.” We were honored to have Tammy Pierce, CAP-OM, International Director, Great Lakes District speak to us also. After the business meeting on Saturday, we were treated to a Mardi Gras fanfare banquet that netted us Division recognition as Chapter of Excellence in Certification (with less than 20 members). I look forward to serving on the board for the 2013-2014 year as Immediate Past President. Sincerely Submitted, Carol Hannah, President IAAP Gadsden Chapter 2012-2013

The year has flown by and IAAP Gadsden Chapter has had a prosperous year as the result of our professional training, teamwork and dedication of all our board members and general membership. We gained three new members and gained valuable information and technical skills through our programs and seminar. The Gadsden IAAP Board is a great team that has worked together, individually and collectively with our membership. Thank you Baisha Woody, Vice-President; June Bearden, Recording Secretary; Linda Hollingsworth, Corresponding Secretary; Pat Presley, Treasurer; Donna Kilgore, Director; Alison Bowling, Director and Carol Wilcutt, Immediate Past President. Thank you for letting me serve with you.

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." —John Quincy Adams

I have enjoyed serving as Vice President of the Gadsden Chapter during the “Be The One” 2012-2013 year. The board and chapter members did an excellent job this year in attendance and inviting others to attend and join our chapter. I appreciate all of our guests that were able to attend our programs and the feedback received from chapter members regarding the monthly newsletter. As we close out the year, I look forward to serving as President of the Gadsden Chapter and working with upcoming officers for 2013-2014: Pam Noah - Vice President; Pat Presley, CAP - Treasurer; June Bearden, CAP - Corre-sponding Secretary; and Alison Bowling - Recording Secretary. I know each individual will do a great job and continue to enhance the Gadsden Chapter’s presence through membership, networking, and professional development.

I have enjoyed everything this year and I look forward to next year.

Baisha
