Grond, Konrad, of Kihei, Maui, will be remembered in a private service. Grond, 52, died

Sunday while on a family snorkeling excursion at Molokini islet off Maui. The boat sank, and he

and six others had to swim to Molokini. Once on land he passed out and could not be revived.

Gustafson, 96, was born in Essex, England. She began her teaching career by teaching career by

secondary schools, she moved to Honolulu and was an instructor at the University of Hawaii and
