It is time to show that our City, known for its high air pollution and the recent closure of numerous landfills like Puente Hills, can also proactively reduce toxic emissions and trash that cities like San Francisco have already demonstrated.

The City of Los Angeles has set ambitious Zero Waste goals to achieve 90% waste diversion by 2025, but in order for us to accomplish this we need to adopt visionary plans like the Zero Waste LA Franchise System. The exclusive franchise system will divert a huge portion of our trash from landfills by finally allowing multifamily and commercial owners and residents to recycle the plastic, paper, glass, metal and other reusable materials than now fill their waste bins headed for a local dump.

It takes forward thinking policies to reduce waste and to ban plastic bags that will help Los Angeles become the nation's leading city in sustainability.

I urge the City Council to \Ote yes for the Zero Waste LA Franchise System!

Thank you,

I urge the City Council to vote yes for the Zero Waste LA Franchise System!

Thank you,

Mr. Joshua Fielstra 1801 Garfield PI Apt 17 Los Angeles, CA 90028-5944

I join the Sierra Club and the Don't Waste LA Coalition to ask the City Council to approve the Zero Waste LA Franchise ordinance for the future of our city on April 1.

It is time to show that our City, known for its high air pollution and the recent closure of numerous landfills like Puente Hills, can also proactively reduce toxic emissions and trash that cities like San Francisco have already demonstrated.

The City of Los Angeles has set ambitious Zero Waste goals to achieve 90% waste di\.€rsion by 2025, but in order for us to accomplish this we need to adopt visionary plans like the Zero Waste LA Franchise System.

I urge the City Council to vote yes for the Zero Waste LA Franchise System!

Thank you,

Mrs. Leticia Villasenor 1715 Amherst Ave Los Angeles, CA 90025-3617

Dear Ms. Wolcott,

As a resident of a single-family home in western Los Angeles, I have found the separate cans for garden, recyclable, and non-recyclable waste to be very useful in avoiding adding extra waste to the system. The Zero Waste LA Franchise system would extend this benefit to businesses and multi-family dwellings, and put that much less strain on our garbage dump facilities. Please approve the ordinance April 1. Thank you.

Dear Ms. Wolcott,

I live, work and shop in Los Angeles and 1 support the Zero Waste LA Franchise system.

I urge the City Council to 'vOte yes for the Zero Waste LA Franchise System!

Thank you,

Mr. Tim Warner 3829 Hollypark PI Los Angeles, CA 90039-1619

Dear Ms. Wolcott,

I support the Zero Waste LA Franchise system.

I join the Sierra Club and the Don't Waste LA Coalition to ask the City Council to approve the Zero Waste LA Franchise ordinance for the future of our city on April 1.

It is time to show that our City, known for its high air pollution and the recent closure of numerous landfills like Puente Hills, can also proactively reduce toxic emissions and trash that cities like San Francisco ha'A3 already demonstrated.

The City of Los Angeles has set ambitious Zero Waste goals to achie'A3 90% waste diversion by 2025, but in order for us to accomplish this we need to adopt visionary plans like the Zero Waste LA Franchise System. The exclusi'A3 franchise system will di'A3rt a huge portion of our trash from landfills by finally allowing multifamily and commercial owners and residents to recycle the plastic, paper, glass, metal and other reusable materials than now fill their waste bins headed for a local dump.

It takes forward thinking policies to reduce waste and to ban plastic bags that will help Los Angeles become the nation's leading city in sustainability.

Dear Ms. Wolcott,

I li\e, work and shop in Los Angeles and I support the Zero Waste LA Franchise system.

I join the Sierra Club and the Don't Waste LA Coalition to ask the City Council to appro\€ the Zero Waste LA Franchise ordinance for the future of our city on April 1.

It is time to show that our City, known for its high air pollution and the recent closure of numerous landfills like Puente Hills, can also proacti\ely reduce toxic emissions and trash that cities like San Francisco ha\e already demonstrated.

The City of Los Angeles has set ambitious Zero Waste goals to achieve 90% waste diversion by 2025, but in order for us to accomplish this we need to adopt visionary plans like the Zero Waste LA Franchise System. The exclusive franchise system will di\ert a huge portion of our trash from landfills by finally allowing multifamily and commercial owners and residents to recycle the plastic, paper, glass, metal and other reusable materials than now fill their waste bins headed for a local dump.

It takes forward thinking policies to reduce waste and to ban plastic bags that will help Los Angeles become the nation's leading city in sustainability.

I urge the City Council to vote yes for the Zero Waste LA Franchise System!
