Industrial Agriculture and modern technology are not good at delivering plant productivity. But it is rather good at substituting Labour energy with fossil fuels. 9 billion workers wanted!!

Who says that´s the way forward??

We are running out of oil & soil.

The population is growing rapidly, in numbers & weight and

nature is suffering – emissions are growing.

Global situation

57 mio km2 of cultivated agricultural land We are loosing/ converting 40.000 km2 p.a. That´s round 50 NYC per year.!! Source: FAO 2000

At the same time population is growing to 9 billion in 2050 Erosion is one of the biggest challenges on the planet – How to deal with that.

Solution

One solution may be a local 80:20 thinking in a social and cultural integration model. 80 % plant output 20 % animal output A closed circuit where the consumers live close by, seeing themselves as part of the idea. This creates learning, social integration, reduced use of fossil energy and reduced CO2 emissions. The closed circuit have huge amount of positive output.

We conceptuated the idea and exported it to several municipalities

This year – more than 2000 kids have gardens in the concept

Evaluation shows positive learning benefits in the outdoor education. Positive learning benefits at both academic and personal level.

the number of the competencies they develop relates directly to school subjets as math, science,

history, gym and environmental and health education.
