01.08.17 Version 3 Funding of Courses Policy Sparta Trampoline Club SCIO is keen to promote the development of coaches and judges and where possible provide funding for these opportunities. The trustees will review this policy and agree a budget at the start of each financial year that the club will put towards courses. Any budget not spent during the course of the financial year on course fees can be reallocated for CPD events or additional courses the following year, as determined on a needs basis prioritised by the committee. Coaching Courses The club will pay up 50% of the course fee. In return the individual would continue to coach for the club for a year from completion of the examination. Failure to do so would result in the club asking for the money paid to be returned. Judging Courses The club will pay up to 50% of the course fee. In return it is hoped that the individual will continue to volunteer for the club in this role for a year after completion of the examination. If the individual chooses not to continue volunteering, the club may ask for a contribution towards the training costs that have been paid by the club, taking personal circumstances into consideration. Child protection courses & PVG Checks All Safeguarding and PVG courses will be 100% funded by the club, as will any required PVG checks. Other CPD events The club, at present, will not fund CPD events.
