OverviewLearn more about urban planning, land use law, environmental law and public health law in the United States during the weeklong Fundamentals in American Planning Law Workshop. Through lectures from world renowned scholars and practitioners as well as daily site visits designed to enrich the educational experience, participants will develop a strong foundation for comparative legal work.

This program is being organized by the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth at Georgia State University College of Law, and will take place in the heart of downtown Atlanta.All lectures will be in English without simultaneous translation; therefore, English proficiency is necessary.

CostThe program fee is $900 and must be paid at the time of application. The program must have 20 paid participants to be offered; otherwise refunds will be given. Refunds will not be given for other reasons. The fee includes scheduled group meals, speaker honoraria and site visits. Hotel, airline tickets and airport ground transportation must be purchased separately. Participants are responsible for booking their hotel rooms.
