What makes the Pescar Centers stand out is not just their success at training disadvantaged youth for the job market, but their ability to bridge the divide between youth growing up in marginalized communities and the corporate world. In a nation where income inequality is on the rise, the Centers offer a potent message of inclusion.

Clearly defined roles help facilitate the adaptation of the Pescar Center model within companies. A company representative, or Articulator, ensures support for the program internally, engaging employees as trainers and mentors. Life skills instruction is delivered by a Pescar-trained Orientator, who also supports and tracks youth through the program. Finally, a Coordinator oversees the work of Orientators to ensure consistent content delivery across centers.
