What can the OmniHi5™ do?With multiple electrodes and a one size fits all arm strap, the device can be worn in many locations to trigger different muscle contractions. Move it closer to the wrist to get more finger movement, or move it closer to the elbow to achieve wrist extension.

OmniHi5™

Designed to improve upper extremity function and active range of motion in patients with hemiplegia or upper limb paralysis. The device is indicated for patients living with limited upper limb function and mild to moderate upper limb tone caused by upper motor neurone syndrome.

How does the OmniHi5™ Work?

The OmniHi5™ is the first upper limb FES device to incorporate surface electromyography (sEMG) to measure muscle activity and react to muscle contraction by stimulating weakened nerves. Electrical stimulation creates a stronger contraction resulting in hand or upper limb movement. It is a wearable rehabilitation tool used to address the fingers, hand, wrist, arm and shoulder through NMES, sEMG and FES. NMES and FES facilitate motor function while individuals use their hand to perform exercises and/or functional tasks. Ipad/Iphone Patient management app makes it easy for clinicians to manage patients, track treatment sessions and document functional progression.

How does it work?The WalkAide® II is an innovative functional electrical stimulation (FES) technology used for rehabilitation in a therapy setting and/or during activities of daily living (ADL). Integrated stainless steel electrodes and Smart Technology with a self programming feature, leverage therapist efficiency allowing more time for the provision of patient care. Beyond its simplicity as a self-programming device, the WalkAide® II can also utilise Bluetooth communication with an iOS or Android application. Ypsilon®Flow was designed for your active patients or others who require less resistance or more flexibility. Ypsilon Flow is the AFO of choice for your active patients who need sagittal plane assist. The footplate is engineered to allow the orthosis to adapt to and move with the lower leg with less resistance to ground reaction forces while the proximal ends of the “Y” provide fixation points, eliminating pressure on the tibial crest. Ypsilon®Flow has a heel height of only 7 mm.

Recommended applicationFoot drop with no spasticity to moderate spasticity. Limb proprioception deficit and mild proximal deficit. It is recommended that a foot orthosis should be adhered to the footplate of this device.

ContraindicationsSevere oedema, leg ulcers, moderate to severe spasticity, medial-lateral instability.

The BlueROCKER has a heel height between 12-15mm depending on size. The anterior plate assists with knee extension at the mid-stance phase of gait. This dynamic ankle foot orthoses is designed to provide extra stability to improve both balance and posture. Developed for patients with more involved pathology in addition to footdrop. Suitable for; bilateral involvement, foot drop resulting from neurological and neuromuscular deficit disorder, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, post polio or post spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy and partial foot amputation. It is recommended that a foot orthosis should be adhered to the footplate of this device. Straps are included with brace. A SoftKIT or ComfortKIT interface should be ordered with this product.

Every ToeOFF and BlueROCKER should have a soft interface between the orthosis and the tibial crest. SoftKIT is a padding system that includes two narrow neoprene pads to create a pressure-free channel to help relieve any potential discomfort from bony prominences. Two foam pads are included so one can be worn while the other is laundered.

UPPER LIMB

Smart Orthotic Treatment is a resting splint for the spastic and paretic hand, when the goal is to maintain or increase the mobility ofthe hand. The orthosis is smooth and lightweight. The S.O.T has an aluminium core which allows adjustment to the desired position.The brace is delivered in a resting position. A resting position can offer pain relief, relaxation to the hand and it also provides a goodbiomechanical position that may reduce the risk of flexor shortening of the wrist and fingers. Accessories are available to seperate fingers for hygiene, control wrist flexion and assist metacarpalphalangeal extension.

S.O.T RESTING BRACE

A plastic palmar support with dorsal velcro closures, to maintain a resting position of the wrist, hand and thumb. The fingers and thumb are held in a comfortable, slightly flexed position, the device is adjustable to achieve desired position.
