Fujitec's Latest Moving Systems�Improve Asian Cities.��ASEAN nations are undergoing change in the faces of their metropolitan area. In particular, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia have grown at a rapid rate and are constructing large numbers of high-rise buildings. Since establishing Southeast Asia's largest elevator manufacturing base in Singapore in 1972, Fujitec has installed more than 15,000 elevators in high-rise apartment buildings developed by the Housing Development Board of Singapore. As a result, Fujitec has become the market share leader in Singapore, and has earned an outstanding reputation. Production capabilities have also expanded to include a new plant in Indonesia's Batam Island. Joint-Venture in China�Creates New Opportunities.��Hong Kong, a mecca for super high-rise buildings, continues to grow at a rapid pace.
