POWERHOUSE PRESSURE WASHER FEATURES

THERMAL RELIEF VALVE — Protects the pump from damaging heat build up while it is in bypass mode. The thermal relief valve, sensing a rise in temperature opens and discharges a small amount of heated fluid. This allows cooler water to enter the system and cool the pump. When the gun is dis-charged the cooler water will cause the valve to close immediately. All POWERHOUSE pressure washer models have a thermal relief valve included to protect the pump.

TRIPLEX PUMP — Triplex pumps are positive-displacement reciprocating pumps that are configured with three plungers. Triplex pumps are used in applications that require continu-ous pumping. For example, a triplex pump is a common com-ponent in large-capacity commercial car wash equipment. The plunger pump design of a triplex pump offers a reinforced seal and uses ceramic plungers for tight alignment and long life in high-pressure applications. Our pumps use clean water only and no corrosives can be used in the injection system. Triplex pumps have a brass body which resists corrosion and scale buildup.
