Indian vegetable oil economy is the fourth largest in the world next only to US, China and Brazil accounting for 12-15

per cent of global oilseeds area, 9 per cent of vegetable oils production, and 9-10 per cent of the total edible oils

consumption. Olive plantation and oil production is the new entrant in the industry and India will be the newest
