Inspired by traditional Swedish folklore, we
craft an eccentric festive fable that explores the
wonder of Christmas through a child’s eyes.
Say hello to the Lytgubbe, a bearded figure
from Laponian folk tales that will guide you
home safely for Christmas. We thought every
home should have one, so we designed one!
With every purchase, customers receive one
of our limited edition, handcrafted figures
to decorate their tree. A giant, free-standing
Lytgubbe in every store provides engaging
visual theatre and an out-of-the-ordinary photo
op for social media amplification. Customers
can also win one through a competition that
drives data-capture.

to unify the different strands of the Carluccio’s
business under a single powerful theme.
To highlight the different reasons to visit
Carluccio’s – from sharing good times in the
restaurant, to shopping for distinctive gifts
and treats.
E AT. S H O P. B E M E R R Y. A single strand of spaghetti works as a gift ribbon,
creating the outline of different festive items from
gift to cracker to Christmas tree. A playful yet
versatile visual device, it spreads the message that
Carluccio’s offers so much more than just food.
Executed across the website, emails, flyers,
restaurant POS and special Christmas menus,
we bring elegant design and seasonal cheer to
everything it touches. The best ideas are often
the simplest and this one strand wraps all the
joy, celebration and excitement of Christmas at
Carluccio’s into one tidy little package.
