FRONT-END COORDINATOR POSITION DESCRIPTION Position: Front-End Coordinator Reports To: Store Manager Updated: 04/2010 Summary The Front-End Coordinator is responsible for maintaining office procedures and reporting so that the daily flow of information into and out of the office is timely, accurate and consistent, merchandising stock in and around all register areas and front entrance, proper promotion of merchandise and the maintenance of marketing material visibility. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following; ESSENTIAL CLERICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assigns tills Assign or otherwise ensure that all registers are properly staffed during all breaks Prepare nightly deposit Daily paperwork and filing duties Counting down safe and filling out safe log Coordinating PA announcements for merchandise promotion Coordinating PA announcements for un-purchased merchandise pickup by associates Pulling registers and assisting cashier with register countdown Go to bank for change Clean and organize office Provide expert customer service when handling phone calls for associates and fielding questions/complaints from customers Work with the manager to maintain sufficient level of inventory for store including all misc. supplies, signs, tagger tails, paint sticks, fixtures, etc. Ensure all information regarding markdowns and key changes is communicated both verbally and in written form to all cashiers Performs all other various tasks requested by mgr. or assistant mgr. when not needed in office ESSENTIAL MERCHANDISING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and maintain a good first and last impression of the store in the specified area of responsibility Maintain clean and organized presentation of all signage for front windows Proper merchandising, signage and promotion of stock in and around all register areas and front entrance Maintaining marketing material visibility in and around, but not limited to the register areas.
