I am certain you have noticed the first few strings of beautiful holiday lights, which is certainly one of the highlights of the season. The Club now has a beautiful decorated tree in the dining room (thanks to those who brought ornaments to the holiday reception) and everywhere there are signs of “that” time of year when friends and family gather to celebrate.
Before we take that well deserved break….. I want to remind everyone of the great many events at the Club. You don’t want to miss these..
• A highlight is always the Club’s Christmas lunch buffets. Make certain that you reserve your spot..many “eager eaters” have already reserved but there is still room…just don’t wait…we don’t want you to miss your favourites…including the Christmas pudding. . The buffets begin December 9th but check out the newsletter for the range of dates. I will see you in the buffet line!
• The Children’s Christmas Party is December 13th starring both a magician with an appearance by a “Jolly Old Elf”. (who could that be?)
• The year would not be complete without another visit from the Sutcliffes’ Band. They will be performing your holiday favourites at the Christmas Dinner and Dance on Saturday, December 20th. There is an amazing festive buffet but no worries about calories…you can just dance them away.

The Club will be closed over the holiday season starting December 23rd and reopening January 2nd.
Once again, on behalf of the Board of Directors, the staff and the management team of the University Club we wish you and yours all the very best for the holiday season. We look forward to seeing you during December and of course in 2015.

Thank you to all of those that joined us for our first Festive Reception at The Club on November 20th. We had a great turn out. A number of you participated in our Christmas Tree Ornament Contest.
We received some wonderful ornaments for our tree.
Our members sure did get creative. Thank you all for your participation.
Congratulation to CanAssist on winning the ornament contest and won lunch for 10 at our Traditional Christmas Lunch Buffets.
