As we head into the Fall Season, I am filled with gratitude and deep appreciation for the unity and the joyful spirit of our Faith Family during these otherwise stressful days. The “Covid Pandemic” of 2020 has certainly taken its toll on families, businesses, schools, hospitals, and ministries. We have all felt the negative effects of this unusual and challenging experience. It is our prayer for this virus to pass soon and for life to become more stable for each of us. My heart is richly blessed by the spirit of compassion, understanding, and generosity that our church members have modeled! Our church services and small group Bible studies are currently running about 50% in attendance compared to this time last year. Our online platforms continue to have very significant participation each week and our giving to the ministries of the church has been very strong. For all of these things, I give thanks to the Lord for the faithfulness of our members. We continue to see guests joining with us each week and there have been several new families making Faith their church home! Our sermon series, “The Gospel Changes Everything,” will continue on Sunday mornings through September. October 4 is our Kick-off Sunday for our 2021 Faith on Mission Offering. Bro. Jay Lemonds and his team have done a fantastic job in preparation for this important season of praying, giving, and going to reach “Every Tribe and Every Tongue” with the good news of Jesus. Our Men and Women’s Ministries are planning some special events in the weeks ahead. We are hopeful that our Men’s Power Breakfast will be back on schedule in September and we are looking forward to a wonderful Women’s Ministry “kick-off event” this month as well. We have a church-wide Fall Festival planned for our Germantown Road campus on September 27. This outdoor event is perfect for inviting family and friends to enjoy games and activities for children, great music, and delicious food. Make your plans to join us for this special day! I am honored to serve as your pastor. This year has been one of the most difficult for us in many ways, but it has also exposed the strength and godly character of our church family. ABC Bible Verse Kick-OffWednesday, September 9 at 6:00pmGod’s Movers and Shakers (ages 3-4/Pre-K) will officially “kick off” the year with the start of our ABC Bible Verses for Children curriculum. This wonderful curriculum teaches the children how to learn and memorize key Bible verses using the alphabet as a tool. The ABC Program runs from September to May. We look forward to your child joining us as we go through our ABC’s while learning how to hide God’s word in our hearts!
Preschool Pumpkin Patch Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00pm For Preschool and Kindergarten Kids Children will get to pick out their very own pumpkin in our “Preschool Pumpkin Patch”, decorate the pumpkin & enjoy a fun hayride.

Senior Adult FundayThursdays in September9:00am - 1:00pmin the Fellowship HallIf you are looking for games, snacks, laughs and great fellowship instead of TV news and solitude, Faith is the place to be on Thursday mornings. The church will provide coffee and tea - you provide the entertainment. Bring your board games, dominos, musical instruments, knitting, crocheting, and snacks, etc. You are welcome to come and go as you please. If you would like to wear a mask at this gathering please do so if that makes you more comfortable in a group. Come join us for a fun time at Faith!
