On Tuesday, December 17,

Orlando North - Seminole County held its annual

Tourism Holiday Luncheon at the

Hilton Orlando Altamonte Springs.

In conjunction with this luncheon, CFHLA partnered with Families in Need and Seminole County Public Schools

to conduct a Cares Collection Drive to benefit homeless students in Seminole County, collecting

8,200 items.

CFHLA Members have supported local schools in an ongoing effort to provide a meaningful education to Central Florida students. Below are

recent highlights of the 2019 / 2020 CFHLA Adopt-A-School Partnerships:

Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown visited their Adopt-A-School Partner

Winegard Elementary School to award the winning students of the "Holiday Greeting Card Competition".

The

DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld had students from their Adopt-A-School Partner

Eccleston Elementary School perform songs from "Christmas Around the World"

for guests in the hotel's lobby.

Sheraton Vistana Villages supported 28 students of their Adopt-A-School Partner

Freedom Middle School through the "Angel Tree Families" program.

Additionally, Sheraton Vistana Villages held a "Holiday Art Contest"

for the students of Freedom Middle School and awarded the winners with gift baskets. For your information, the winners' art will also

be used as the holiday cards for Sheraton Vistana Villages.
