10:45 – 11:25 Educational session room 1 How to recruit so they fit into the fold Ian Whiteford from MPS Recruitment

There are many reasons that people start a family business with the main reasons being,

financial ambition, ‘be my own boss’ and desire to pursue a business idea.

Successful family businesses tend to have the family’s values and cultures deeply embedded into their business strategies, policies and practices and manage how their business culture evolves.

Since each new employee brings their own values and practices to the company, the culture will change. Today MPS Recruitment look at the importance of finding employees who not only tick all the boxes for the skills, qualifications and experience required to succeed but also fit the culture the company needs to move forward.
