No the changeover from the open ditch to the underground pipe will be done and overseen by SMRID and AMEC Consulting to ensure service is not interrupted. The canal will remain open for the season. As a resident, or business owner, what can I expect during construction of the new roads, canal alignment and new developments? As with any construction project there will be noise, dust, construction traffic, parking of construction equipment, materials and trailers and workmen on site throughout the week and on weekends between the hours of 7am – 7pm. What about existing uses in the plan area? Existing uses will continue, until development or redevelopment of the property is initiated by the landowner. However, this development or redevelopment must be in accordance with this Outline Plan.
