Each household* is entitled to one

free scheduled and two free 'Your Call'

household clean-up collections each

calendar year.

Scheduled clean-upsTo find out your scheduled clean-up collection date, check your Waste and Recycling calendar, visit waverley.nsw.gov.au/waste or just call 9083 8080. Place items for collection - near to where you would put your usual bins out for collection - the Sunday evening prior to your collection date.

'Your Call' collectionsScheduled clean-up collection date doesn't suit? Book a 'Your Call' collection:'

1. Call 9083 8080 to organise a collection. Youneed to give us eight days' notice. Your clean-upcollection day will be on the same day of the weekas your garbage day.

2. Council will send you a confirmation letter withmore information and an identification sticker toattach to your items for collection

3. Place your material on the kerb the evening priorto your collection day. If you put items out anyearlier, other people may be tempted to dumprubbish around them, making collection difficultand dangerous.

4. Make sure there is no more than 2m3 (one trailerload) per collection booked.

WhitegoodsFridges and freezers put out for disposal could trap and suffocate young children. To avoid this danger please remove doors from whitegoods. Metals will be recycled.

Hazardous waste Including paints, solvents, asbestos, chemicals, cleaners, unwanted medicines and gas cylinders

Building, demolition

& mechanical waste Including tiles, fencing, bricks, plumbing fixtures, car parts, batteries, tyres and oil

Large carpets That cannot be readily handled by two persons

Mattresses Collected for recycling the day after your clean -up collection. Limit of two mattresses per collection

Limit of 2m3All items must be neatly and safely stacked

Council holds free electronic waste collection events, so you can recycle your old computers, hard-drives, monitors, televisions, toasters and other household electronic items (no whitegoods accepted).
