Dunderrow National Schoolare participating in the Active School Flag Programme.

Dunderrow N.S. held their Active School Weekon 13th May to 17th May 2013.

Children were involved in a range of activities such as Sports for all Day, Zumba, Rounders, Drop Everything

& Boogie, Yoga, Tag Rugby, Basketball, Soccer and Dodgeball. Zumba for Parents was held on Th ursday

evening in the school and we fi nished off the week with a whole school Mexican Wave on Friday.

Kinsale Guide Units, re-established in 2003, currently have over 100 members. We are currently looking for Enthusiastic and energetic ladies age 18+ to train as leaders for the Ladybird (5-7) and Brownie (6 ½ to 11) Units.

Leaders need to be willing to commit approx. 2 hours per week during the school termtime. You must be willing to be Garda vetted and attend 4 mandatory 2-3 hour training sessions in the coming year. These are Child protection, Programme planning, Guide Promise and Law from an adult perspective and Outdoor skills.
