FRAGMENTS, TANGLES & KNOTS, OH MY!–IT’S A ZENBUTTON CIRCUS

all day class with Nancy Dawes Let’s explore zenbuttons with a twist. We will pull apart those button rings into a brightly ringed circus full of wonderful watercolors. This full-day class combines a three signature book binding project with fragments, tangles and knots (in the round). We will start with fabulous HotPress Fabriano 140lb watercolor paper and draw a number of zenbuttons throughout the pages to explore a variety of techniques. These are supplied with a materials fee of $15: Hot Press 140lb watercolor pre-cut pages (3), Handmade paper book cover (pre-cut and scored), Ribbon closure, Linen thread and needle, F pencil, Tortillion, Micron pen

Bring your own or use my class supplies:· Bone folder· Awl· Waterbrush or regular brush· Compass or Helix Circle Maker· Please do bring your watercolor pencils. I have a few to share.
