JOS ESTEVE OTEGUI, Marine Division, Oil & Gas Offshore Centre, Asia Pacific Middle East, Bureau VeritasMr. Jos Esteve Otegui is a Spanish Naval Architect (degree obtained at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Navales of the Universidad Politcnica de Madrid) that has mainly worked for the Oil and Gas Industry in Offshore projects, providing technical assistance for the structural integrity management of floating production platforms. He was hired in 2001 by Bureau Veritas by the Commercial Department of the Marine Business Line, Jose started first as project engineer carrying out structural analyses and since 2005 worked as Offshore Projects Manager. In January 2011 he was appointed Manager of the Offshore Centre based in Singapore. He speaks fluent English and French. Holds a Master Degree on Energy Management delivered by the BI School of Management in Oslo, the ESCP Europe in Paris and the IFP (Institute Francais du Petrole) in Paris.

Mr. John Matchett is currently Project Manager for the Engineering of the Cendor phase 2 FPSO being performed by Aker Engineering Malaysia (AEM) in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to joining AEM John worked for Maersk FPSOs, Prosafe Production and J. Ray McDermott on a number of FPSO projects for the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, Indonesia, New Zealand and Brazil. John is 52 years old and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University.

Since 2008, she is working as Naval Architect in Development & Operations Techniques/ Technology/ Structural Department Total and member of the FUIMS for the Follow up of the Assest Integrity Management System for floating units in operation in Angola, Congo, Cameroon, Libya, Nigeria, Argentina and Indonesia. Prior joining TOTAL she was working as Naval Architect performing Technical analysis in the sales and marketing Department of Bureau Veritas Head Office. Mr. Alan Gregory Hooper is involved in various aspects of offshore field developments over the past 35 years drilling, construction and floating production and storage. For the past 25 years he has been responsible for the conceptual and detail design of floating production and storage units and r elated systems and equipment. Mr. Jan Wolter Oosterhuis graduated in 2001 with a MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Delft University in The Netherlands. After working as a specialist engineer for the SBM Offshore Group, he joined Dockwise as a Project Engineer in 2002. In 2005 he moved to Houston Texas to setup Business Development for Dockwise in the Americas.While being positioned in Houston, Mr Oosterhuis earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Texas in Austin in 2009. That same year he was repositioned to Singapore to start up a new Dockwise office for the company in South East Asia. He is currently Area Manager South East Asia for Dockwise.

After working as a Consultant for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, he joined Dockwise as an Offshore Tender Manager in 2006. In 2010 he has been asked to take the lead in the Global Business Development & Sales for the Dockwise new super vessel, Dockwise Vanguard .

Atty. Jose M. Layug, Jr. or Jay was a Senior Counsel for the Negotiations and Legal Department of the Australian Strategic Business Unit of Chevron Corporation. In such capacity, he served as the Malampaya Legal Manager of Chevron Malampaya LLC located in Manila, Philippines from 2007-October 2010. As Chevron counsel, he received the first ever William T. Coleman Award in 2008 the highest recognition given by Chevron Corporation to a Chevron in-house counsel worldwide besting all other Chevron lawyers worldwide.

Ketil holds a master degree in chemistry and chemical engineering from the Technical University of Trondheim, Norway.

Mr. Raja Bose is a partner in the Singapore office of K&L Gates. He has responsibility for coordinating the firms international arbitration and commercial litigation practice in Asia. His practice focuses on power and energy as well as construction and engineering with considerable experience in offshore oil & gas construction, engineering, production and operational disputes. He also acts for a wide range of clients involved in the international sale of goods and services, mining & natural resources and commodities with a strong background in all aspects of shipping law. In addition to his experience in cross-border multi-jurisdictional disputes in shipping, marine insurance, oil & gas, international sale of goods, trade finance and ship mortgage enforcements. Mr. Bose has also been involved in a number of high profile investor/state disputes and investment treaty arbitrations. He is dual qualified in the UK and Singapore and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Co-presenter MIKE POLLEN, Partner, K&L Gates LLPMr. Mike Pollen is a partner in the Singapore office of K&L Gates. He has more than 40 years of experience in advising on issues surrounding marine law. While continuing to deal with the full breadth of marine-related issues, Mike focuses particularly on issues relating to shipbuilding, offshore/oil and gas, ship repairs and conversions, the sale and purchase of ships and insurance/reinsurance. Mike has advised many major organisations in the industry including shipyards, shipowners and operators, energy companies and constructors, many of whom are recognised market leaders. Mike is regularly asked by the media to comment on topical issues, often from a market/commercial perspective. He has held many seminars and workshops that have enabled clients to improve the quality of their contracting processes, enhance risk management and reduce disputes.

Mr. S. Gangahar has total of 33 Years in the fields of Design, Detailed Engineering, Engineering Management, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of offshore (Fixed Platform and FPSO) and onshore Oil and Gas Processing plants. He has experience in Business Development activities for Oil and Gas Projects. In the span of 33 years worked with ONGC, EIL, Triune and Hyundai Heavy Industries .Currently, he is working with MODEC Singapore as Corporate Engineering Manager (Topside).

TERMS and CONDITIONSPAYMENT POLICY: Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Full payment is mandatory for event attendance. CANCELLATION & SUBSTITUTIONS: You may substitute delegates at any time. SBN does not provide refunds for cancellations. For cancellations received in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the conference you will receive a 100% credit to be used at another SBN conference for up to one year from the date of issuance. For cancellations received seven (7) days or less prior to an event (including day 7), no credits will be issued. In the event that SBN cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future SBN event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance. In the event that SBN postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a 100% credit representing payments made towards a future SBN event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance. No refunds will be available for cancellations or postponements. SBN is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/ postponement of an event. SBN shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency. PROGRAM CHANGE POLICY: Please note that speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing; however, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics.
