FOR ALL ADVERTISING:
1. The FPA NCA Classified Connection is a member benefit professional development newsletter
to include job postings, mentoring and internship programs, job seeker resumes of CFP®
certificant professionals and candidates attending local college/university programs, invitation to
CFP® certificant exam study groups, and scholarships and award announcements. The FPA
NCA does not recommend and/or endorse any particular advertisement
2. No graphics, logos, or pictures associated with any advertisements will be included in this
advertising publication.
3. FPA NCA has the right to refuse or modify any ads submitted prior to publication.
4. Ads must be submitted in Microsoft WORD format.
5. Ads must be submitted by the 20th
of each month for inclusion in the next month’s publication.
6. This advertising newsletter will be posted to our local chapter web site (www.fpanca.org) and
announced via email to our members.

reporting model portfolio performance to the firm’s senior Advisor’s.
Required Qualifications:
You must have Bachelor’s degree in finance/business and have a minimum of 3 year’s experience
conducting investment research and managing investment portfolios.
Chartered Financial Analyst CFA, CFA or CFP candidates are preferred
Client-centered and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Database Software
Proficiency in financial and other spreadsheet software programs preferred

RECRUITING DIRECTOR POSITION
The Recruiting Director is responsible for implementing the General Agent’s Recruiting strategy and coordinating
the recruiting efforts of the agency. He or she will act as primary recruiter and use his/her interpersonal and
communication skills to actively locate, interview, and evaluate candidates for a career in financial services.
The ideal candidate should possess a drive for success, be competitive in nature and have the ability to cultivate
multiple sources using relationship building and prospecting skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for the recruiting effort to include:
Develop centers of influences, referrals, and nominators within the community through a sustained level of weekly
activity to include: interviews, phone calls, referral meetings, networking etc.
Prospecting for candidates through personal sources (i.e. business associates, industry contacts)
Seek candidates through impersonal sources (i.e. job fairs, licensed producer lists via Discovery Database)
Drive agency agent referral program; develop campaigns, recruiting/marketing initiatives and other lead
generation activities within the agency.
Attend MassMutual recruiting and training schools, teleconferences and other relevant events.
Participate in study groups to seek out, suggest and implement new ideas and best practices.
Schedule and conduct Pre-screening phone calls and Attraction Interviews.
Enter recruit information into tracking system to track all activity and results.
Administer and track completion pre-qualification tests: POP, CLXP
Follow candidates through the entire recruiting and selection through contracting, licensing, training, and fast start
phases of the process.
Lead/attend weekly recruiting meeting, make recommendations and advise of recruit status.

BEGINNER (PRACTICE MANGEMENT): This practice management concentration group is
designed to cover best practice and operational topics. The mission of this study group is to
help advisors and staff members to be effective, efficient and grow through systems and processes. Members should have one to five-years of financial advisory services. The group

INTERMEDIATE (INVESTMENT PLANNING): This Intermediate Group is ideal for RIA and CFP® certificants. This group will focus on current and proposed rules, investment strategies,
and important financial topics such as but not limited to retirement planning, estate planning in the ever evolving environment. They affect and effect advisors in servicing clients. The
