(from Brilliant Origami Japan Publications1996)In my early creative experiences, the blintz birdbase seemed to be a saviour for all subjects. I hadbeen deeply impressed by George Rhoads’ Elephantin the Best of Origami by Sam Randlett. I later found the in the Best of Origami by Sam Randlett. I later found the blintz to be more of a hindrance than a help, producingmodels which were thick and uneconomical. This dog is however a successful treatment of half a blintz bird baseand was designed to complete a Fox Hunt scene.
