PREPARATION:Basecoat entire box Winter Blue using glaze wash brush. Dry, sand with brown paper, remove grit with tack cloth or damp towel. Dry and paint a second time for best coverage.

Transfer design to tracing paper. Barns and foliage are a repeat design using a variety of palette colors. Seasonal details are an option and can be transferred once design is complete and surface is dry.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:Deerfoot Stipplers will work best dry or as dry as possible. Stippling style can vary from fl ush to slightly bending tip at its side as well as scrubbing the brush.

Paint sky on all four panels using a glaze wash brush (or your favorite brush for painting sky and clouds). Using a freestyle application, results will vary. Winter Blue, Colonial Blue and Titanium White are used for the sky and can be blended for depth of color and interest. The sky can be left plain or blended to cre-ate clouds. Colors can be used in any order, additional white for a lighter sky; more dark, as in winter, for contrast with snow.

Spring: (Sheep in the Meadow)Begin painting sky with Colonial Blue, apply Winter Blue about an inch below; blend into the fi rst color. Wipe brush and add Titanium White below Winter Blue, blending upward and then down to the horizon.

Stipple foliage with Black Forest Green from bottom to about half way up using a 3/8” deerfoot stippler, wipe brush; touch in Foliage Green to continue stip-pling. Add random highlights of Light Lime with a ¼” deerfoot stippler.
