About the Seminar:The importance of clean, affordable and accessible water supply cannot be overemphasized. In September 2010, the United Nations adopted a landmark resolution recognizing the human right to water and sanitation as part of the right to an adequate standard of living. The human right to water entitles everyone to sufficient, safe, accessible and affordable water for personal and domestic uses. This places responsibilities upon Governments to ensure ‘sufficient, safe, accessible and affordable water’ to their people.

This seminar is designed to provide the requisite insights and capacity development opportunities for policy makers in Nigeria on how to leverage modern technologies to provide adequate Water and Sanitation Services (WSS) for Nigerians at all levels. The seminar addresses both water quantity and quality issues within an integrated water management system. It also addresses the challenges facing water supply in Nigeria from both the technical and regulatory angles.

About the Speakers:This seminar will be delivered by leading experts and professionals in industry and academia from USA, Canada, UK and Nigeria.
