To Smithville Brethren Church Members, Thanking everyone at SBC for the cards, phone calls, and visits during my recovery. Your words of encouragement have been such a blessing. Jane Mason

Thank you to Pastor Carr for a lovely service for my dad. Thank you to all others at the church for the set-up, clean-up, music, and nice meal. I really appreciate each one of you. Thank you all too, for your thoughts, prayers, and kind words. Sincerely, Cheryl Fleming To our church family, Thank you for your prayers and con-cern for mom and dad these past several years. Mom misses coming to church and I know she appreciates all of you who ask about them. Thank you for your cards and expressions of sympathy at dads passing. Thanks to Eileen Vincent for planning the delicious meal served to us after the services, and to all who provided food, served, and cleaned up. Your kindness allowed us to just rest and catch our breaths for a few hours. To Geoffrey Zimmerly and Ted Peplowski, thanks for the music at the funeral service. Also, to Pastor Carr for being with us at Hospice and for the beautiful service which helped us say good-bye for now, to dad/grandpa. Mom is adjusting to being at Danbury in Wooster, and we all take great comfort knowing dad/grandpa is experiencing the joy of being in Heaven - where there is a big, big, yard that dad can take care of. Mary & Brian Weeman & family of Charles Fleming

Smithville Brethren Church, Thank you all for your cards, prayers, phone calls, and visits to Joe while he was in the hos-pital. Also to Pastor Carr and Pastor Dale for their visits and prayers. They were all truly welcome & appreciated. To the Hospitality Committee for the delicious funeral meal—many nice comments. Also for the basket of flowers. They are still beautiful. I am blessed to have such a wonderful church family. Your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless. Dee Durbin

A Note from Your Librarian

This month I have a 3 book series called “The Inn at Eagle Hill” by Suzanne Woods Fisher. She is a writer of fiction and non-fiction books about the Amish. She lives in California. This series is:

Book One- “The Letters”-Widow Rose Schrock turns her Amish farmhouse into a bed and break-fast, she expect there might be problems. This is an inspiration from a true story and her signa-ture plot twists with a fresh story of simple pleasures and strong faith in a complex world. Book Two- “The Calling”- Bethany Schrock’s love life has derailed, her faith hangs by a thread, and she is spending hot summer days wading through a lifetime of accu-mulation at the home of five elder-ly Amish sisters. She’s not sure what she wants out of life, but she knows she is not finding it in Stoney Ridge.

Book Three- “The Revealing”-Naomi King chooses to follow her heart into unfamiliar terri-tory. If anyone finds out what she is up to, she’s in for trouble. In this conclusion to the series, Suzanne Woods Fisher pulls out all the stops with a fast-paced tale of deception, revelation, and romance.

Enjoy these three books. You will find them on the table in the library. Your Librarian, Rachel Krabill Quote: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give” Winston Churchill

Ladies’ Luncheon

The Ladies Luncheon will begin again this year, starting on Wednesday, March 7th at 11:30 am at the Smith-ville Inn in Smithville, Ohio. Any and all ladies are invited for a time of fel-lowship. If possible, contact Louise Liebhart, 330-262-8862 or 330-347-8544, so we have an idea for seating. But if you find you can come at the last moment, just come, we will always find room.
