Forres Academy: MP3 playersTeacher and School Information

Forres Academy is a six year comprehensive community school serving in the town of Forres and its

extensive rural catchment area in west Moray. This includes the villages of Dallas, Alves, Dyke,

Logie, Kinloss (including children of RAF personnel) and Findhorn (including the nearby Findhorn

Community). The school roll is approximately 1000. This varied catchment provides the school with

a vibrant and unique atmosphere.

The modern languages department is made up of 4 full time and 2 part time members of staff and

currently offer French and German from S1-S6. Emma Harris joined the school in August 2005 and

has a keen interest in promoting the use of ICT in the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages to

increase motivation and attaintment.
